Our mission is to provide immediate crisis response, as well as long term relief, for vulnerable groups such as women and children in a dignified, respectful and empowering way. Our ambition is to find a response that simultaneously improves the conditions for both refugees and local actors.

Our mission is to develop and support people in need, in particular children and women in poor countries like Nepal and people in India living below poverty line. We develop our project strategies on our own together with local partners. In India e.g. we set in place a comprehensive, focused and tailored program in order to transform the society. The strategy is focused on children and women. For children we offer child emergency services, child care services and Skill Development and a Women empowerment program including Skill Development. This unique strategy perfectly fits together and will have a significant impact on the people in this area. We have a clear view on what is achievable and we only start programs with a high probability of success. Less is more is one of our principle. We do not want to run projects which are too big and only a few ones. Our aim is to run all projects as long-term projects, i.e. at least 25+ years.

To improve the quality of life of rural and tribal communities suffering from poverty, health hazards, illiteracy, lack of enforcement of laws of the nation with special reference to rights of women and children, environment degradation, lack of facilities for playing &sport activities and for the nurturing traditional culture of the target people.To strive for the empowerment of under served and underprivileged village communities with special emphasis on women through the organization of awareness creation, skill development, income generation, leadership development, community organization and capacity building programs; To allow participation of people's groups in all programs, projects and activities undertaken through the auspices of ARTI and in all stages from identification of needs and problems through to implementation, monitoring and evaluation; To avoid total dependency status of individuals and communities on outsiders through strengthening skill in the development processes;To strive for the empowerment of under served and underprivileged village communities with special emphasis on women through the organization of awareness creation, skill development, income generation, leadership development, community organization and capacity building programs;

Our mission is to empower women and youths, especially adolescent girls, to have expanded personal choices, explore their potentials, and control their future so that we can close gender gaps and challenge actions which stunt girls' development in the communities where we operate. The BARKA Foundation's mission is to serve as a catalyst for achieving the SDGs in Burkina Faso, West Africa. Our methodology is community-led, grassroots and combines indigenous and modern technologies to develop a set of best practices in areas of clean water accessibility, sanitation, irrigation, sustainable agriculture, women's empowerment, education, healthcare, and renewable energy. BARKA's work is ultimately about co-creating a culture of peace.
