Mission To inspire and promote an increased tree canopy in the Valley. Our Vision A Valley where for now and the future, all generations have lifelong access to the benefits of trees Who is Trees Matter? Trees Matter is a Phoenix-based 501(c)(3) environmental education nonprofit, whose mission is to inspire and promote an increased tree canopy in the Valley. We see a need to provide important resources to the general public so they can properly choose trees, plant trees, care for trees, and of course advocate for trees. We hope to encourage a culture of tree advocates and stewards. What We Do Trees offer many critical functions such as shade, pollution reduction, dust reduction, food, increased property value, carbon sequestration, increase in mental and physical health, and more. The Valley has an immediate need for an increased tree canopy; Trees Matter works to alleviate this need by educating the public on tree knowledge, planting trees in schools, and distributing desert adapted shade trees to residents across the Valley.

Sustainable Coastlines Hawaii is a grassroots, local nonprofit organization run by a small team of dedicated staff and supported by passionate volunteers, just like you. We inspire local communities to care for their coastlines through fun, hands-on beach cleanups. The Adirondack Mountain Club (ADK) is dedicated to the protection and responsible recreational use of the New York State Forest Preserve, and other Parks, wild lands and waters vital to our members and chapters. The Club, founded in 1922, is a member-directed organization committed to public service and stewardshiadvocacy, environmental education and natural resource conservation. ADK encourages the involvement of all people in its mission and activities; its goal is to be a community that is comfortable, inviting, and accessible.

Founded over 100 years ago, ELM is a member-based, non-profit organization. ELM is dedicated to protecting the health of our environment and citizenry by safeguarding the land, water and air of our Commonwealth. ELM is focused on environmental advocacy and strengthening the voice and effectiveness of the environmental community. ELM advocates for strong environmental laws and regulations on the broad range of environmental issues, voices the concerns of citizens, ensures that laws are properly implemented and enforced and educates the public.

Founded in 2001, Action for Cheetahs in Kenya has helped stabilize endangered cheetah populations in East Africa through research, education, and community development. Our mission is to promote the conservation of cheetahs and improve livelihoods of people impacted by carnivores. We are the only cheetah conservation organization focused on conserving cheetah populations outside the bounds of national parks and protected areas. We function as a project under the US-based non-profit organization, Project Survival.

The High Atlas Foundation is a Moroccan association and a U.S. 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2000 by former Peace Corps Volunteers committed to furthering sustainable development. HAF supports Moroccan communities to take action in implementing human development initiatives. It promotes sustainable organic agriculture, women’s empowerment, youth development, education, health, and capacity building. Since 2011, HAF has maintained Consultancy Status at the United Nations Economic and Social Council.

The Fungi Foundation is the first global 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated exclusively to the study and conservation of fungi. As an organization deeply concerned about the future of our ecosystems, we envision a healthy planet in which fungi are recognized as the interconnectors of nature. Our main mission is to explore fungi to increase our knowledge of their diversity, promote innovative solutions to current problems, educate the public about their role in nature and applications, and recommend public policies for their conservation.

Our mission is to provide safe drinking water and hygienic sanitation to rural communities in Africa. By working in partnership with local organisations and communities, we empower people out of poverty; independently and sustainably. By having a strong working relationship with the communities in which we work, we listen to their requirements, provide them with tools, and engage them in the ongoing process. We ensure sustainability by running programmes alongside our projects, such as a Water Management Committee and a health education programme.

Our mission is to raise public awareness, provide educational outlets, use specialized programming, assist and encourage refugee women, girls and families displaced by the Darfur conflict so they may re-establish personal empowerment and flourishing communities in the face of adversity. Darfur Women Network, Inc. works with both refugees in Chad and those who have immigrated to the United States. We work to empower Darfuri women so that they can help their families, and therefore their communities.

Wilder Creek Conservation Club is a 501(c)3 nonprofit, membership-based conservation and nature area, created to protect and conserve the natural resources of our country, and to educate future generations to become caretakers of our water, air, land and wildlife. Featuring 63 acres of rolling hills, gardens, nature trails, wildlife including birds, deer, Canada Geese, cranes, turtles and more, Wilder Creek is a sanctuary tucked inside historic Marshall, Michigan.

GENI's mission is to conduct research and to educate world leaders and the public about the critical viability of the interconnection of electric power networks between nations and continents, with an emphasis on tapping abundant renewable energy resources, what we call 'the GENI Initiative.' Our research shows that linking renewables between all nations will mollify conflicts, grow economies and increase the quality of life and health for all. This is a strategy rooted in the highest priority of the World Game simulation developed by Dr. Buckminster Fuller decades ago.
