GENI's mission is to conduct research and to educate world leaders and the public about the critical viability of the interconnection of electric power networks between nations and continents, with an emphasis on tapping abundant renewable energy resources, what we call 'the GENI Initiative.' Our research shows that linking renewables between all nations will mollify conflicts, grow economies and increase the quality of life and health for all. This is a strategy rooted in the highest priority of the World Game simulation developed by Dr. Buckminster Fuller decades ago.

The Lands at Hillside Farms is a historic, non-profit 501(c)(3) 428-acre educational dairy farm. Our mission is to teach life choices that are healthy, logical, and sustainable so that those born 200 years from now will have access to the same or better opportunities and resources. The John Fairey Garden Conservation Foundation - Established by John Fairey in 1971, The John Fairey Garden (formerly Peckerwood Garden) is an extraordinary preservation garden on 39 acres near Hempstead, Texas. The garden is widely acclaimed for the originality of its design, its education and conservation programs, and its exceptional collection of over 3,000 plants, including many endangered and rare plants from Mexico, North America, and Asia. Our mission is to preserve, share, and advance the horticultural and artistic legacy of John Fairey.

Humane Animal Society (HAS) is established to act as a strong network of compassionate, committed and courageous people who will protect animals against cruelty and work to bring about a change in attitudes, laws and life-styles towards improving conditions for animals in and around Coimbatore. HAS strives for animal liberation through treatment, rescues, rehabilitation and humane education. HAS conducts periodic workshops to instil compassion and love towards all species and make this world a better place for humans and animals alike.

We are committed to biodiversity conservation and research, protecting our ancestral territory and its natural resources, developing environmentally sound income alternatives, and educating our youngest generation. FSC has received and managed grants from both government and private sources for activities directed to the conservation and management of Cofan ancestral territories in northeastern Ecuador, and for the development of strategies that will allow the Cofan people to maintain cultural and economic stability. We work closely with FEINCE, the Ecuadorian Cofan Indigenous Federation.

The International Mountain Bicycling Association is a non-profit educational association whose mission is to create, enhance and preserve great trail experiences for mountain bikers worldwide. Since 1988(http://www.imba.com/about/history.html) , IMBA has been bringing out the best in mountain biking by encouraging low-impact riding, volunteer trailwork participation, cooperation among different trail user groups, grassroots advocacy andinnovative trail management solutions(http://www.imba.com/resources/bike_management/index.html).

Great Works Regional Land Trust provides conservation options for landowners in the six southern Maine towns of Eliot, South Berwick, Berwick, North Berwick, Wells, and Ogunquit. A member supported, nonprofit organization, GWRLT’s mission is to conserve the value of our area’s natural, historic, agricultural, forestry, scenic, and recreational resources. GWRLT pursues this mission by holding property and conservation easements where these values are present and by promoting the need and importance of conservation through education and other related activities.

Lake Lanier Association’s mission is to protect Lake Lanier and its watershed ensuring a clean, full and safe Lake Lanier that enhances the lake’s economic value to Georgia. The association strives to preserve the quality and quantity of the water for all users who rely on the lake and its watershed to enhance their quality of life. A 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, the Lake Lanier Association seeks to fulfill its mandate of protecting the quality and quantity of Lake Lanier through education, action, and advocacy.

We founded Rafiki Ya Maisha to provide vocational training to unemployed young people & women in need, who have no secondary education nor access to trade schools in rural Western Kenya. This forgotten group of youths gets material assistance for acquiring life skills through our small college in Chepkanga. This village empowerment endeavor has components in conservation, health, culture, micro-finance, counseling, brick making. We are building a larger polytechnic center to serve Sergoit area.

Growing a Wood - Growing Community - Growing Knowledge and Understanding 10 years - 10,000 children - 10,000 trees This is a conservation project that has its eye set firmly on the need for future environmental stewardship. Planetary conservation and protection of biodiversity needs more champions than ever before and the young people in our society are the decision-makers of tomorrow. With a growing disconnect between young people in urban communities and the natural environment, it is more important than ever before to put them at the heart of environmental projects. We have formed a COMMUNITY of 25 local schools, youth groups, volunteers and businesses working in partnership together and with specialist environmental organisations. Our aim over the decade 2012-2021 is to involve every young person in our community in creating new woodland, somewhere to relax, to enjoy, to learn. Once the 12-acre wood is complete, tree planting will continue through partnerships with local landowners as we plant outwards from Harmony Woods creating green corridors that link to nearby woodland and copses. We offer regular volunteering in nature for all irrespective of age or ability and offer training in green crafts, including coppicing, constantly striving to grow the volunteer base both in numbers and capacity. The first 5 years were spent establishing the project; the second 5 years is about realising its potential, a major part of which is to support 6 of our 25 schools to develop programmes of outdoor learning linked to arts and science and based on the wood that their students are helping to plant. We are currently fundraising to employ an education officer, fund outdoor learning programmes led by local artists and convert a pair of steel containers into an off-grid woodland 'Cabin', an all-seasons base for volunteers and a teaching space for all, connecting people to nature and local heritage.
