Santa Monica Mountains Fund (SAMO Fund) is dedicated to the mission of preserving, protecting, and enhancing the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area (SMMNRA). Our mission encompasses a commitment to safeguarding the unique ecosystem of the area, fostering a deep connection between people and nature, and supporting the National Park Service in its endeavors. The Missouri Prairie Foundation works to protect and restore Missouri’s prairie and other native grasslands by acquiring and managing prairie lands, supporting restoration and scientific research, and offering outreach and education. It also promotes the use of native plants through its Grow Native! program and helps coordinate invasive-plant control via the Missouri Invasive Plant Council.
