Watershed Protection and Restoration

MMPS Environmental specializes in research and education of the natural world, focusing on aquatic and terrestrial habitat restoration.

The Tomales Bay Watershed Council (TBWC) was formed in 1999 by the region’s stakeholders with an interest in improving the watershed’s vital natural resources. The TBWC includes representatives from local, state and federal agencies, environmental organizations, citizen and residential groups, agricultural and shellfish industries, recreational interests and individual residents.

AMIkids is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping youth develop into responsible and productive citizens. AMIkids' mission is to protect public safety and positively impact as many youth as possible through the efforts of a diverse and innovative staff. AMIkids works in partnership with youth agencies, local communities and families.

The Texas Marine Mammal Stranding Network is dedicated to the conservation of marine mammals through rescue and rehabilitation, research and education.

Heal the Ocean focuses on wastewater infrastructure – sewers and septic systems – as well as ocean dumping practices that have contributed to ocean pollution. They are focused on Santa Barbara County, but their methods are now serving as a model for other coastal communities across the country.

Promoting healthier more prosperous lives through practical sustainable solutions along the pathways water travels through our lives and the planet. We help communities at risk in Central Mexico confront environmental challenges—access to safe healthy water supplies most of all. We collaborate with technology innovators and social organizations to develop innovative, open-source solutions that address the diverse challenges of water quality and access, and positively impact communities beyond our borders through training and sustainable enterprise development programs.

the Piseco Lake Association is an all volunteer community based organization whose purpose is to preserve, protect, and enhance the quality of Piseco Lake, its tributaries and watersheds, for the enjoyment of our community now, and for generations to come. Our mission is to support the interests of the lake’s users, thereby promoting the welfare of the community of Piseco, New York, through fundraising, stewardship, research and public advocacy.

Working together to monitor, improve, and manage the water quality of Togus Pond and Stream, manage and maintain the dam at Togus Stream, and work with local, state, federal, and private organizations to sustain an active stewardship of Worromontogus Lake and its watershed.

The mission of Sycamore Land Trust is to preserve the beauty, health, and diversity of southern Indiana's natural landscapes through strategic land conservation and environmental education. Vision: Sycamore Land Trust envisions a future in which southern Indiana has diverse and abundant habitat for native plants and animals, as well as clean air and water, working lands that are productive and sustainable, and people who embrace the connection between a healthy environment and our quality of life.
