The association works to protect and maintain Lake Nuangola’s water quality and shoreline environment while supporting community amenities and events. It funds and coordinates lake management (monitoring and weed control), preserves the pavilion and public resources, and promotes the general betterment of the lakeside community.

Captains for Clean Water is a grassroots nonprofit organization advocating for the elimination of harmful, large-scale Lake Okeechobee discharges into the Caloosahatchee and St. Lucie River Estuaries by restoring the natural flow of Lake Okeechobee water south into the Everglades and Florida Bay. Restoring the natural southern flow of Lake Okeechobee water is essential to the survival of our estuaries, the health of the Everglades, and the long-term viability of South Florida's largest drinking water source. The problem is known. The solution is known. The funding is available through Amendment 1. All that's missing is the political will to make it happen.

Marine Conservation Institute is dedicated to securing permanent, strong protection for the oceans’ most important places – for us and future generations.

The Burden Lake Conservation Association works to protect, restore, and improve water quality and the ecosystem of Burden Lake (primarily Third Burden Lake) and nearby water bodies. It builds a community of lake stewards and provides education to lake users and the public about safety and lake protection.

The Newfound Lake Region Association's mission is to protect Newfound Lake and its watershed. The Association - through education, programs, and collaboration - promotes conservation and preservation of the region's natural, social, and economic resources.

MGROW is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 2011 as an umbrella group serving the people and organizations within the Middle Grand River watershed. Its mission is to protect and preserve the history and the natural resources of the Middle Grand River watershed by promoting education, conservation, restoration, and wise use of watershed resources.

The Wild Steelhead Coalition is working to restore wild steelhead populations in their native watersheds to levels that provide self-sustaining runs and economic vitality to local communities.
