Future Families is a non-profit organisation rendering quality services to Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) and people infected and affected by HIV/AIDS in South Africa. Our objective is to keep children in their families. This is sometimes a new type of family - a Granny-headed family, a youth-headed family or even a child-headed family. We empower the community to care for the family and create support to ensure the family can successfully raise balanced children who will become responsible members of the community.

Inspired by a love for our country and its people, The sweethearts Foundation allows passionate individuals to uplift the lives of less fortunate people. Our mission is to provide wheelchairs to those who need them most, to give them independence and be an invaluable member of their community.

Sisterhood Agenda is an award-winning, tax-exempt nonprofit organization that creates and implements activities for women and girls around the globe for education, support and empowerment. Sisterhood Agenda promotes positive social change and has over 6,000 global partners in 36 countries. Global partners create an extensive sisterhood network to increase local organization capacity and unite women and girls. Sisterhood Agenda's SEA (Sisterhood Empowerment Academy), based in the U.S. Virgin Islands, attracts international participants. On global and local levels, Sisterhood Agenda addresses social, health, economic and cultural issues facing women and girls to promote positive life outcomes. Sisterhood Agenda's social impact is expanded through partnerships with agencies, individuals and businesses throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, India, the Caribbean, United Kingdom, Africa, Australia, and other geographic regions. Abalimi is a Volunteer Association working to empower the disadvantaged through its organic Urban Agriculture program & projects. We support our target groups' ability to replicate their success and transform their lives in their urban and rural environments, through the following Key Result Areas: resource support; training; organisation building; facilitation of partnerships; research, monitoring and evaluation.

Working with local grassroots charities and NGOs in 13 countries across the globe, the Global Vision International (GVI) Charitable Trust manages and raises funds for numerous long-term programs. These funds are used to support our local partners with the aims of alleviating poverty, illiteracy, environmental degradation and climate change. We do this through education, nutrition, conservation and capacity building. Our work focuses upon 3 key objectives: awareness, impact and empowerment. The aim is to create awareness of global issues, have a direct impact on those issues locally and empower our alumni, be they volunteers, donors, staff or community members, to continue impacting local issues on a global level.

Seva Mandir's mission is to make real the idea of society consisting of free and equal citizens who are able to come together and solve the problems that affect them in their particular contexts. The commitment is to work for a paradigm of development and governance that is democratic and polyarchic. Seva Mandir seeks to institutionalise the idea that development and governance is not only to be left to the State and its formal bodies like the legislature and the bureaucracy, but that citizens and their associations should engage separately and jointly with the State. The mission briefly, is to construct the conditions in which citizens of plural backgrounds and perspectives can come together and deliberate on how they can work to benefit and empower the least advantaged in society.

We want to see young people reach their full potential. We aim to create this change by focusing on youth who gets over-looked many times and to inspire them, through positive role modeling, relationship building, coaching sport, mentoring life skills and creating opportunities.

The African Impact Foundation works to implement long-term, positive change in the lives of individuals, families and communities in Africa. Our commitment to 'Educate, Enrich and Empower' points to our main areas of focus: Education and Enrichment, Health and Nutrition, Empowering Families, The Girl Impact and Conservation. We also pride ourselves on our knowledge of sustainable and responsible development.

Starfish brings life, hope and opportunity to children orphaned or made vulnerable by HIV/AIDS in South Africa by identifying the very best Community-based organisations and partnering with them to ensure the highest quality care. Last year Starfish supported 12,000 children in 29 community-based organizations throughout South Africa, providing them with access to education, healthcare and child-protection services. We know our model works because we follow the progress, one child at a time. Our work ranges from crisis intervention like food parcels and help obtaining identity documents, to access to education and training, mentorship, and support for income generation activities with the aim of lifting whole communities out of the vicious cycle of poverty and HIV.

RIJ is an independent non-profit organization that funds projects for people displaced by conflict around the world. RIJ supports projects that provide opportunities for people to lead an independent normal life while staying near to home and their loved ones; projects that enable people to give back to the community and make valuable contributions to the local economy as well as rebuilding their own future.
