St. Jude Children's Research Hospital seeks to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. The mission of the American Diabetes Association (the Association) is to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes. Diabetes is a disease in which the body does not produce or properly use insulin.  Insulin is a hormone that is needed to convert sugar, starches and other food into energy needed for daily life.  The cause of diabetes continues to elude the medical community, although research has shown that both genetics and environmental factors such as obesity and lack of exercise appear to play roles.

RAINN (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network) is the nation's largest anti-sexual violence organization and was named one of "America's 100 Best Charities" by Worth magazine. RAINN created and operates the National Sexual Assault Hotline (800.656.HOPE and online.rainn.org) in partnership with more than 1,100 local rape crisis centers across the country and operates the DoD Safe Helpline for the Department of Defense. H.U.G.S. is a nonprofit community outreach program for those who have lost a family member or friend to suicide. H.U.G.S. Mission To offer a healing environment, through group engagement, for all people processing the loss of a loved one to suicide. H.U.G.S. offers support, understanding and education to empower the Survivor of Suicide Loss through the grieving process. H.U.G.S. preserves confidentiality, and honors individual differences in a respectful and appropriate way.
