Provide access to an Integrated System of Health Care to Pender County students and their families, as well as teachers and staff in the school setting.

Providence serves preschool-aged children with all types of disabilities at 6 locations across Calgary. Our unique model gives children and families a blend of programs and services built on the skills of certified teachers and therapists, and education and therapeutic assistants working directly with the children in the classroom, every day. Each classroom has a certified teacher, a teacher's assistant, an occupational therapist, a physiotherapist and a speech-language pathologist. Our mobile Outreach Team visits more than 100 of the area's daycare and day homes, as well independent schools, taking therapies right to the children in their home community. Overall, children at Providence will achieve about 80% of their education and treatment goals. Many will improve to the point where they no longer require funding for their care.

We believe teacher well-being really, really matters. Our mission is to empower educators to take care of themselves, their students, and their school communities through wellness practices such as yoga, mindfulness, and community building.

The mission of the Primary Education Project is to provide sustainable, quality education, especially for girls, without discrimination, in unreached marginalized communities, developing the skills of teachers and creating a network of effective leaders through wide-ranging training programs.

Remember Niger Coalition is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that works unify people and mobilize resources to expand quality educational opportunities in Niger, West Africa. We accomplish our mission by partnering with local Nigerien organizations and school committees. Working together, we build and furnish schools, provide sponsorships for student tuition assistance, keep girls in school through our Girls' Advancement program, provide teacher training through Teach-the-Teacher, and ensure that students have meals. We also facilitate volunteer mission trips to Niger.

Dance To Be Free (DTBF) is a 501(c)3 that is changing the lives of incarcerated women through the healing power of collective dance. Through our DVD and Teacher-Training program, DTBF uses cathartic choreography and emotional music as the healing vehicles for addressing Post Traumatic Stress Disorder symptoms. During our teacher training inmates gain confidence as they experience leadership skills for perhaps the first time in their lives. As the training progresses their self-awareness increases through emotionally expressive movement. Our students also respond to journal prompts throughout the training that deepen their experience.

The Mission of the Inside the Outdoors Foundation is to provide financial, educational, and advisory support to the Inside the Outdoors Science Study Programs. Inside the Outdoors programs empower students, teachers, parents and the community through hands-on educational experiences in the natural world to expand their knowledge, understanding and stewardship of the environment.

The center brings Kundalini Yoga, meditation and related yogic practices into modern healthcare to support people facing serious or chronic medical and mental-health challenges. It provides direct therapeutic services, international accredited Kundalini Yoga Therapy training for health professionals and teachers, and conducts research on therapeutic outcomes.

The Healthy Schools Campaign, an independent not-for-profit organization, is a leading authority on healthy school environments and a voice for people who care about our environment, our children, and education. Our mission is to advocate for policies and practices that allow all students, teachers and staff to learn and work in a healthy school environment.

Our Goals & Objectives are to: 1. Promote and advance the physical, mental, and spiritual development of inmates in Canada through the practice of meditation and yoga. 2. To support meditation and yoga teachers who offer classes in correctional facilities. 3. To deliver a letter writing program that supports inmates in their practice of yoga and meditation.

Caring for Cambodia (CFC) is educating a generation of Cambodian children today, to make a difference for Cambodia's tomorrow. Our schools are safe, modern and technologically equipped. We train teachers, provide tools and remove barriers to learning. We build Cambodian leadership to guide and sustain these schools, so that generations of CFC graduates can reach their highest potential and make vaouable contributions to their community.

Envision a future where children and their parents, and their teachers, and their doctors, all believe there is a newer and safer method than drugs–hooking up electrodes to the foreheads of kids to “stimulate” their frontal lobes every night. Imagine millions of children enduring this stigma, this humiliation, this lie about being helped, this encouragement to see themselves as broken devices, and the specter of unknowable long-term brain injury.
