The mission of Breast Cancer Alliance (BCA) is to improve survival rates and quality of life for those impacted by breast cancer through better prevention, early detection, treatment, and cure. To promote these goals, we invest in innovative research, breast surgery fellowships, education, dignified regional screening, and support for the underserved. Since its inception in 2006, BCA has invested over $39 million in grants to improve the survival rates of those diagnosed with breast cancer. SafeSpace (Safespace Inc.) provides crisis intervention, emergency shelter and advocacy for adult survivors of domestic violence and their children across Florida’s Treasure Coast (Indian River, Martin and St. Lucie counties). The organization operates a 24/7 hotline, emergency shelters, legal advocacy, counseling and prevention/education programs to help survivors achieve safety and independence; services are provided free to those who seek help.
