The mission of the Women Resource Center of Florida, Inc. (WRC) is to assist low income women and their families in setting and accomplishing short and long term goals that would help them become self-sufficient and productive members within their communities.

The American Medical Women’s Association is an organization which functions at the local, national, and international level to advance women in medicine, advocate for equity, and ensure excellence in healthcare. We achieve this by providing and developing leadership, advocacy, education, expertise, mentoring, and strategic alliances.

Women's and Children's Crisis Shelter is committed to provide safety, shelter and hope to victims of domestic violence.

Women and adolescent girls access our Women's Centre for information, one-to-one support and advocacy for a wide range of issues and concerns -- poverty, violence and abuse, sexual assault, mental and emotional health, affordable housing, parenting, social and familial relationships, separation and divorce, and women's rights and entitlements. We offer community-based programs that include a women's health clinic, a sexual assualt nurse examiner (SANE) program, support groups for adult survivors of sexual trauma, an in-school healthy relationships program for grade nine students, and a problem-solving skills development program for adolescent girls. We are working with our community on community health impact assessment, a poverty reduction strategy, food security and strengthening services for children and youth. We are involved at the provincial level with social policy advocacy focussed on poverty and violence against women.

Blue Ridge Women's Center is dedicated to improving the well being of women and their families in our community through a medical clinic specializing in unplanned pregnancy, relationships, and reproductive health. Quality care is provided to all clients at no cost to them, regardless of race, religion, income level or circumstances.

We are a medical care pregnancy center that exists to educate and empower women and their families to make life-affirming choices.

And we derive our credibility from our partnerships with the leading national professional women’s health societies: * Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Canada (SOGC) * Association of Professors of Obstetrics and Gynecology (APOG) * Society of Gynecologic Oncologists of Canada (GOC) * Canadian Fertility and Andrology Society (CFAS) * Canadian Society of Urogynaecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery (CSURPS) * Society of Colposcopists (SCC) When you support the CFWH, you are helping women through research into areas such as: * In utero fetal health * Preterm labour * Safer pregnancies * Post-partum depression * Gestational diabetes * Infertility * Safe delivery and newborn health. Your support helps mothers and their babies, and helps ensure that all women have access to optimal health care and health information.

To provide safety, shelter and support for women and children who have experienced domestic violence, and to raise awareness regarding its cause, prevalence and impact.

The Organization's mission is to provide a safe temporary dwelling for women and their children that have been victims of domestic violence and to assist those families to transition into safe permanent homes.

CWHC facilitates the empowerment of women, trans people, and young people by providing access to health care and health education in a respectful environment where people pay what they can afford.

We provide life-affirming services to women and men facing unplanned pregnancy. We don't do or refer for abortion, but everyone, regardless of pregnancy intentions are treated with love and respect. Our programs serve men and women. ComfortCare is designed to provide holistic care. We believe the spiritual, emotional, and relational parts of individuals making pregnancy decisions are just as important as the physical. Our services reflect this belief. We provide pregnancy confirmation, medical consultations, STI testing, and peer counseling on pregnancy options for the mind and heart. Our services also include KISSN - an abstinence program geared toward teens; Connections - a weekly parenting enrichment class; and HEART, a Bible study for women with an abortion decision in their past.

Women's Resource Center (WRC) is dedicated to stopping domestic violence and sexual assault by rebuilding lives together. We believe ALL people deserve to live a life free from the crimes of domestic violence and sexual assault. Those who are victims of these crimes should have access to services that assist them in recovering from their trauma and moving forward in their lives. WRC is dedicated to providing the highest quality supportive services, counseling, shelter and education to women, men and children involved in or threatened by domestic violence or sexual assault.
