The mission of Thrive Women’s Clinic is to extend Christ-like love in a compassionate and responsive manner that values the family and empowers women and their partners to choose life. Our vision is to live in a community where taking the life of the unborn is unthinkable.

Formerly New York Asian Women's Center, Womankind works with survivors of gender-based violence to rise above trauma and build a path to healing. We bring critical resources and deep cultural competency to help Asian communities find refuge, recovery, and renewal.

Our mission is to provide professional education, support, and training for the promotion of good reproductive health using the Creighton Model of FertilityCare™, which respects all human life and the self-worth of participants. The FertilityCare™ System is an NFP model that provides useful health information beyond family planning.

A Safe and Protected Environment The shelter maintains a confidential address. Twenty-four Hour Crisis Intervention The shelter offers a 24 hour crisis line and is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. A TTY line is available. Emergency Accommodation and Room and Board 27 beds are available for women and children. Meals, clothing and basic necessities are also provided Counselling Services for Abused Women Supportive counseling is available to women while they reside at the shelter. Staff and volunteers provide options and alternatives to aid women in making choices. An in-house support group meets weekly, offering an opportunity to discuss and learn more about abuse issues. Children’s Program Child and youth workers provide support to children & teenagers who come to the shelter with their mothers...many of whom have witnessed violence in the home. The YWCA of Annapolis & Anne Arundel County works to eliminate racism and empower women while providing safety and support to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. Locally the organization operates the county’s domestic-violence safe house and offers a 24/7 crisis hotline, counseling, legal advocacy, and related healing and prevention programs.
