The mission of the Children’s Oncology Group (COG) is to cure and prevent childhood and adolescent cancer through scientific discovery and compassionate care. The Children's Oncology Group Foundation enables COG's leadership, comprised of a team of doctors, nurses, laboratory scientists and other allied professionals, the ability to direct the resources raised for childhood cancer research to the areas of highest need and opportunity.

Chicago Nancy G. Brinker promised her sister that she would do everything in her power to end breast cancer forever. That promise is now Susan G. Komen for the Cure®, the global leader of the breast cancer movement, having invested more than $2.2 billion since inception in 1982. As the world’s largest grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists, we’re working together to save lives, empower people, ensure quality care for all and energize science to find the cures. Thanks to events like the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure® and the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure®, and generous contributions from our partners, sponsors and fellow supporters, we have become the largest source of nonprofit funds dedicated to the fight against breast cancer in the world.

The Society of Gynecologic Oncology’s (SGO) Foundation for Women’s Cancer is dedicated to increasing public awareness of gynecologic cancer risk awareness, prevention, early detection and optimal treatment. Founded by SGO in 1991, the Foundation for Women’s Cancer is a nonprofit organization that also provides funding for gynecologic cancer research and training, as well as educational programs and resources.

The mission of the Kosten foundation is four-fold:To establish support and a forum for communication amongst those afflicted with pancreatic cancer via support group meetings and this website.To assist with the training of future pancreatic surgeons.To provide funding for a yearly Memphis public lecture on pancreatic cancer delivered by a nationally and/or internationally renowned expert on the disease.To provide funding for clinical and basic research toward improving outcomes of those afflicted with pancreatic cancer.

Kids v Cancer promotes pediatric cancer research by identifying structural impediments at key junctures in the process of drug development. This includes removing barriers to research, increasing access to funding, and providing incentives for innovative drug research. We develop strategies to address these issues and create regulatory, legislative and institutional changes to create long lasting and efficient change in the landscape of pediatric cancer drug development.

To provide psychological, nutritional and emergency financial support to cancer patients and their families. We support cancer patients and their families, in Vermont and Northern New York in a time of extraordinary need, by providing financial assistance, underwriting counseling services, and acting as a resource during diagnosis, treatment, and recovery.

Cancer isn't free -- especially if you're a young adult just starting out your life. Samfund is a program of Expect Miracles Foundation designed to help young adults who are struggling financially because of cancer. Samfund programs help young adults move forward with their lives after cancer treatment. To date, $3.5 million has been awarded to young adult survivors across the country.

Family Health Ministry's mission is to support Haitian communities in their efforts to build and sustain healthy families by developing best health care practices to share across Haiti and other low-resource communities.

The mission of Smiles For Sophie Forever - A Foundation Confronting Pediatric Brain Cancer is threefold: to provide financial and emotional support to families burdened by pediatric brain tumors  to promote a global awareness of not only pediatric brain tumors, but also an awareness of the lack of funding allocated for pediatric brain cancer research; and  to provide financial support to St. Jude, where Sophie was treated, and to other viable organizations committed to the treatment and cure of pediatric brain cancer Our Foundation is dedicated to honoring Sophie's memory by providing financial support to those families burdened by pediatric brain tumors, increasing global awareness not only of pediatric brain tumors but the serious lack of funding for this research and to provide financial support fo St. Jude, where Sophie was treated, and other viable organizations committed to the treatment of pediatric brain cancer.
