Band of Parents is a 501 (c) (3) grassroots, nonprofit organization that funds innovative research and clinical trials for neuroblastoma, helping increase the survival rate for this childhood cancer. We are a support network for the newly diagnosed and their families as they go through treatment. Our goal as parents is to fast track a cure using less toxic, targeted therapies. In the past decade, Band of Parents has expanded its advocacy, funding research in several major cancer centers throughout the United States. Band of Parents has committed more than $10 million to neuroblastoma research.

The Michael Hoefflin Foundation for children's cancer is a public non profit 501 (c) (3) foundation that provides financial and emotional support to children and their families in the Santa Clarita and surrounding valleys. We strive to educate the public and provide grant funding for innovative research to accelerate progress in the fight against pediatric cancer.

Our Mission is to empower the lives of people affected by cancer in Northern Nevada through connection, education, hope, and healing from diagnosis through survivorship.CCC recognizes the challenge for survivors and their loved ones in returning to everyday life while adjusting to the physical and emotional effects of treatment. Patients and their families often feel isolated without support due to the widespread lack of survivorship programs. Their experiences may lead to PTSD, depression, anxiety, and a general absence of long-term well-being. CCC's survivorship program helps people process emotions and grief, improve quality of life, create personal connections, and empower survivors to reclaim joy and purpose at any stage of their cancer journey.

To ensure full access to timely, appropriate cancer care for low-income, medically and socially underserved women with cancer.

Since 1981, the John Wayne name has been committed by the Wayne family to groundbreaking cancer research and education in memory of their father who died of cancer. The John Wayne Cancer Institute at Saint John's Health Center is a cancer research institute dedicated to the understanding and curing of cancer in order to eliminate patient suffering worldwide. Our mission is accomplished through innovative clinical and laboratory research and the education of the next generation of surgical oncologists and scientists. In fulfilling its mission, the John Wayne Cancer Institute: * Conducts innovative research focusing on biological mechanisms to provide new understandings of the cause, diagnosis, control, and cure of cancer. * Provides training for new generations of surgical scientists who study and treat cancer. * Offers unique experimental treatment services to rapidly develop and test new forms of diagnosis and therapy in order to improve the quality of life and expected survival of those afflicted with cancer. The Institute has received worldwide acclaim for advances in melanoma (skin cancer), breast and colon cancer as well as immune therapy of cancer. Other areas of research include prostate and liver cancer. At JWCI, the close relationship between research and clinical care, combined with the multidisciplinary expertise of our specialists, produces the best science, the best medicine, and the greatest hope for our patients.

Layla's Legacy Foundation is committed to raising funds to cure Medulloblastoma and to supporting families impacted by the disease.

Created in 1998 by Lynne Cohen's three daughters, the mission of the Foundation is to support and enable collaborative, multi-institutional research combating ovarian cancer through prevention and early detection. The Lynne Cohen Foundation for Ovarian Cancer Research is a national nonprofit organization uniquely positioned to fight ovarian cancer. A network of preventive care clinics, a consortium of researchers from prestigious cancer centers around the country, and a national registry of high-risk patients from geographically diverse communities comprise the core of our direct efforts. From this multi-institutional research platform, we seek to increase survival rates for women with ovarian cancer by supporting research for the prevention and early detection of the disease.

IMBCR is a nonprofit research institute focused on advancing treatment and monitoring for multiple myeloma and related bone-marrow cancers through laboratory research and data-driven, precision approaches; the organization works to develop more personalized, tolerable therapies and to improve patient outcomes and survival.

Our mission is to provide women and their families help, hope and healing to overcome suffering in their cancer journey.Our vision is to honor the life of Bessie Mathew by continuing to empower and support women facing cancer through various services and tools including financial, educational, health and life resources, care packages, counseling coordination, and tuition assistance.

Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern California keeps families close when a child is seriously ill by operating regional “Houses,” hospital family rooms, and a camp; they provide free or low-cost lodging, meals, emotional support and wrap‑around services so parents can focus on their child’s care.

The Testicular Cancer Foundation educates young men about testicular cancer, promotes early detection through awareness and self-exam guidance, and provides support resources for patients, survivors, and caregivers. It also shares materials with healthcare and community groups to improve care and survivorship outcomes.

Hats For Hope provides wigs, head coverings, and direct cash gifts to Central Coast residents undergoing cancer treatment to lift spirits and reduce the financial burden of care. The program is run by a volunteer board and funded through local events and donations, with funds going directly to local recipients.
