We believe we can build healthier, cancer free futures through early detection and improved treatments.Positively affect the lives of women with ovarian cancer, now and in the near future: - Advance research relative to improving outcomes in ovarian cancer - Influence the direction taken in national research for ovarian cancer - Develop collaborative networks and foster a scientific community of leaders in ovarian cancer research - Partner with the community and encourage contribution to the task of working toward the cure for ovarian cancer - Disseminate findings nationally to increase the number of investigators interested in ovarian cancer research and to create dynamic research connections

The Cancer Council of Reno County helps people and families in Reno County affected by cancer by providing local financial and practical support (for example travel and medication assistance), operating equipment/loan programs, and promoting cancer education and prevention in the community.

The National LGBT Cancer Network works to improve the lives of LGBT cancer survivors and those at risk by: EDUCATING the LGBT community about our increased cancer risks and the importance of screening and early detection; TRAINING health care providers to offer more culturally-competent, safe and welcoming care; and ADVOCATING for LGBT survivors in mainstream cancer organizations, the media and research.

Bear Necessities Pediatric Cancer Foundation is a national organization with a mission to eliminate pediatric cancer and to provide hope and support to those who are touched by it.

It is our mission at Cancer Services to serve the community by actively promoting healthy lifestyles and to provide support and services needed by people living with cancer.

The Cancer Foundation for New Mexico is a local, non-profit organization supporting New Mexicans affected by cancer. Our mission is to help save lives by removing barriers and providing needed support to Northern New Mexicans with cancer seeking medical treatment in Santa Fe

Cancer Guide Research Foundation (CGRF) partners with research institutions, healthcare organizations, cancer and caregiver communities, doctors, scientists, and students to work towards helping patients understand and treat their cancer while also empowering patients by providing needed information and hope for the future.

The mission of Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center is to improve survivorship and lessen the burden of cancer through expert treatment, compassionate care, early detection, research and education.

Facilitating communication and dissemination of knowledge among scientists and others dedicated to the cancer problem; fostering research in cancer and related biomedical sciences; encouraging presentation and discussion of new and important observations in the field; providing training and public education; and advancing the understanding of cancer etiology, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment throughout the world.

TO PROVIDE SUPPORT TO CANCER VICTIMS. THIS SUPPORT IS PRIMARILY PROVIDED IN TWO WAYS: 1) DISTRIBUTION OF FINANCIAL "GESTURES" TO ASSIST WITH THE FINANCIAL BURDEN OF A CANCER DIAGNOSIS AND 2) OFFERING OF HEALTHY AND ACTIVE-LIVING ACTIVITIES (SURVIVE, THRIVE & BE FIT) TO ENCOURAGE PATIENTS AND SURVIVORS TO LIVE MORE FULLY FOLLOWING A CANCER DIAGNOSIS.

The Ovarian Cancer Alliance of Ohio promotes early detection and awareness of ovarian cancer and supports people affected by the disease through advocacy, education, public outreach, and direct support services.
