Alliance for Period Supplies of SWFL's Mission:  "Provide free, monthly period products to financially challenged women and girls so they may participate fully in daily life." Our Vision: "Women and girls will not longer be absent from school or work due to lack of period supplies."

THE ORGANIZATIONS PRIMARY PURPOSE IS TO HELP WOMEN GET FREE FROM DRUG AND ALCOHOL ADDICTION. IT IS A SIX-MONTH IN HOUSE PROGRAM THAT FOCUSES ON FILLING THE WOMEN WITH THE WORD OF GOD TO HELP OVERCOME THEIR ADDICTIONS THROUGH DAILY BIBLE STUDIES, LICENSED COUNSELING, TEACHING PROGRAMS, AND PARENTING CLASSES. IT PROVIDES TRANSPORTATION TO EDUCATIONAL FACILITIES FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO FURTHER THEIR EDUCATION OR GET THEIR GED. IT ALSO PROVIDES HOUSING AND AN AFTERCARE PROGRAM TO HELP THE WOMEN LOOK FOR WORK IF THEY HAVE NO OTHER HOME TO GO TO OR NEED EXTRA SUPPORT TO HELP EASE THEM BACK IN TO SOCIETY. IT'S MAIN FOCUS IS TO TEACH THE WORD OF GOD AND HELP BUILD A STRONG FOUNDATION FOR THE WOMEN TO BE ABLE TO TURN TO GOD'S WORD FOR HELP INSTEAD OF DRUGS AND ALCOHOL.

We serve not only physicians, but also other health care professionals who are important to the provision of abortion care including nurses, counselors, and administrators. Access to health care is guaranteed by the Canada Health Act. Abortion is considered a safe, legal, insured and funded service. Women should therefore not have to pay for abortion care in Canada, but access is variable. Kween Culture aims to empower and celebrate the richness of Black transgender women through creating moments, spaces, and events for collective possibility and to create a framework that highlights our joy, our resilience, and our sisterhood in spite of disparities we face.

The Jean Tweed Centre is one of the largest community-based substance abuse and problem-gambling treatment facilities for women and families in Ontario. The Centre provides services to approximately 1,200 women over the age of 16 and their families each year. Services include support and stabilization, intensive day and residential programs, and outpatient services including continuing care, family and trauma counseling services. The Centre also provides outreach and on-site services to women who are pregnant and/or parenting young children under the age of six and offers onsite childcare and child-development services.
