International Eye Foundation is dedicated to helping people see! Since 1961 IEF has taken up the challenge in poor countries around the world, helping to restore sight and prevent blindness. IEF offers strong new strategic directions that focus on making eye clinics financially self sufficient. IEFs achievements include developing eye health services, training ophthalmologists and para-medicals, and fighting vitamin A deficiency, trachoma and river blindness. IEF is now strengthening the management, quality of service, and income generating activities so that eye clinics are less dependent on outside donors and government funds.
Wayfinder’s mission is to ensure that children, youth and adults facing challenges always have a place to turn. Founded in 1953 as the Foundation for the Junior Blind, we initially enabled blind and visually impaired children to lead fuller, more independent lives. Today, Wayfinder is a human services agency with expertise in child welfare, vision impairment and multiple disabilities. Across our programs, Wayfinder strives to achieve equity for all our clients, most of whom are low-income people of color. We serve nearly 20,000 children, youth, adults and family members annually. Our name became Wayfinder Family Services in January 2018
Trillium Vision Foundation works to restore sight for people with corneal blindness in low- and middle-income countries by organizing philanthropic surgical outreach trips, providing donated corneal tissue and hands-on surgical care, and training the next generation of corneal surgeons so local systems can continue care.

The AFI International Aniridia Medical Registry and Gene Bank is the main project of our research. 2) To SUPPORT the low vision / blind people born with aniridia and their families who struggle emotionally and financially due to having aniridia. To assist them in accomplishing their dreams and remain independent, self sufficient and a productive member of society. 3) To help fund RESEARCH especially the AFI created program which collects DNA samples, comphrehensive medical questionaires, and clinical photographs to add knowledge to physicians and advance research. Our international faculty of AFI Medical Advisory and Scientific Boards assist us with this program. We also help fund research and patient care services as funds allow and look forward to raising funds to expand our efforts to stop this genetic condition from continuing into future generations.. 4) To further PUBLIC AWARENESS about all the conditions that make up aniridia, and the misconceptions of people who are blind or low vision,
