CFH renders guidance, parental counsel, role modeling, and life-skill training to teach children healthy habits and social behavior. We raise up children who are self-sufficient, socially adjusted, confident and proactive to be Godly contributors and leaders to the world around them. CFH provides nutritional food, basic health care, hygiene advice and all the essentials they need to stay healthy under the care of the organization. FOCUS + Fragile Kids understands and supports the unique needs of families with children who are medically fragile or have significant developmental or physical disabilities. We offer comfort, hope, and information to parents; accessible recreational and social programs for children and teens; prescribed medical equipment for medically fragile children not covered by insurance or Medicaid; and fun, inclusive activities for the entire family. A non-profit founded by parents in 1983, FOCUS continues to embrace and strengthen Georgia families.

Seasons Centre for Grieving Children

Seasons Centre for Grieving Children provides peer support for children between the ages of 4-24 years who are grieving the death or impending death of a loved one, free of charge. We welcome anyone who can get to the centre and have had clients from all over Simcoe County and southern Ontario. The children will take part in groups in the evenings. These groups are possible because of a large contingent of our volunteer facilitators, who go through a mandatory training session. We also offer community outreach services. Our staff will do presentations for organizations who wish it. Since we do not receive any Government or United way Funding, we rely on donations, grants and our events staff.
