We are committed to supporting children’s health and wellness across Canada. Our focus is on childhood nutrition and children with disabilities. President’s Choice Children’s Charity helps kids through grants for childhood nutrition programs and provides support for families with a child with a disability. We believe nutrition is fundamental to children’s health and we want to provide the resources necessary to fuel a better learning environment. Our support of children’s health is accomplished by being the National Premier Sponsor of Breakfast For Learning and through the PCCC Basic Needs Brighter Future Program in partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs of Canada. We support children with disabilities by providing financial grants for essential specialized equipment and essential therapists. Through individual grants, the charity is able to supply much needed resources and help provide a renewed sense of independence, dignity and freedom.

To provide love, care, and a positive Christian witness for children and families in need.
For more than 75 years and in 130 countries and territories, SOS Children’s Villages is the world’s largest organization focused on ensuring that children and young people without parental care or at risk of losing it grow up with the care, relationships and support they need to become their strongest selves. Extreme circumstances like natural disasters and war put children at an increased risk of losing parental care and protection when they need it most. With your support, our emergency response teams are able to quickly assess what is needed and ensure that affected children are cared for and protected.
Established in 1971, the Children’s Hospital Foundation (CHF) works to support the special healthcare needs of children through reliable and consistent funding of pediatric medical research, as well as equipment and programs at the Children’s Hospital of Winnipeg (CH). Since its inception, the CHF has contributed more than $27 million dollars for pediatric medical research and millions more to the Hospital for equipment and special programs.
Through the Foundation, we provide many services that are not covered by government funding. While the Ministry of Children and Youth Services provides funding for core child protection services, it does not provide direct funding for many abuse prevention and enrichment programs that are urgently needed by our children and families. Many of the most effective programs for child abuse prevention receive no financial assistance through provincial funding of the Durham Children’s Aid Society. Your support will go a long way in helping to build a future for our children. It is because of the support of the community that we have been able to extend a helping hand to those children in need, helping to break the cycle of abuse and neglect, and to foster the healthy development of youth into socially responsible adults.

Brad and Vicki Margus founded the A-T Children's Project when two of their young sons were diagnosed with A-T in 1993. Ataxia-telangiectasia is a genetic disease that attacks in early childhood. It progressively affects coordination, predisposes children to lethal cancers, and severely compromises their immune systems. Children with A-T are usually unable to walk by the age of ten and rarely live beyond their teens. By supporting and coordinating aggressive research, we hope to give them a chance to live and to enjoy life's possibilities.
In response to God’s Word, we embrace and nurture vulnerable children and families by providing homes, healing and hope.
