TO FORM A NON-PROFIT HOME FOR CHILDREN, UP TO THE AGE OF TWENTY-ONE YEARS, WHO HAVE INADEQUATE PARENTAL CARE, IN AN EFFORT TO PROVIDE A SUITABLE PLACE FOR THEM TO LIVE AND LEARN IN AS NORMAL A MANNER AS POSSIBLE; TO CONDUCT AND EMPHASIZE RELIGIOUS TRAINING IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PRINCIPLES AND BELIEFS OF THE CHURCH OF CHRIST, THERE BEING NO REQUIREMENT THAT THE CHILDREN, OR THEIR PARENTS, HAVE A CHURCH OF CHRIST BACKGROUND; TO EMPLOY THE NECESSARY PERSONS TO ACT AS SUPERVISORS OR "HOUSE PARENTS" FOR THE CHILDREN; TO EMPLOY THE NECESSARY CUSTODIAL HELP AND TO DO ALL SUCH OTHER THINGS AS ARE INCIDENTAL OR CONDUCIVE TO THE ATTAINMENT OF THESE OBJECTIVES.

Canuck Place Children’s Hospice, North America’s first free standing children’s hospice, is a recognized global leader in specialized pediatric palliative care. Canuck Place offers a comprehensive continuum of care to over 350 children and teens with life-threatening illnesses and their families throughout British Columbia. The program is unique in that it offers world-class health care within a home-like environment. With comfortable surroundings, personalized programs, caring professional staff and dedicated volunteers, it is a place for children and families to come in their time of need. Services include 24/7 physician and nursing support, end-of-life care, pain and symptom management, respite care, school, music and play therapy, recreation opportunities and counseling. The Jennifer Ashleigh Children's Charity (formerly The Jennifer Ashleigh Foundation) was created by a grandfather, out of love for his very special granddaughter who, at six months of age, succumbed to Spinal Muscular Atrophy. Since 1990 we have been assisting seriously ill children and their families with special treatment needs, medical expenses and financial assistance in times of need. We like to think that we act as a safety net for families that are living through anxious times. We are proud to say we have assisted over 10,500 children in Ontario since 1990.

ACCH provides the very best physical, psychological, and spiritual care for school aged children who have been neglected, abused or in need of supervision. We care for these children without regard for their race, religion ,culture, national origin, financial status or social status. ACCH operates 100% off donations, accepting no state or federal funding!

FOSTER CARE & RESIDENTIAL CARE HOME MID-WESTERN CHILDREN'S HOME REACHES OUT TO TOUCH THE LIVES OF CHILDREN IN NEED OF PHYSICAL, SPIRITUAL, AND EMOTIONAL HEALING. MID-WESTERN IS LICENSED BY THE OHIO DEPARTMENT OF JOB & FAMILY SERVICES AS A GROUP HOME PROGRAM AND AS A PRIVATE NON-CUSTODIAL AGENCY. STAFF OF MID-WESTERN ARE QUALIFIED, MOTIVATED, CONSCIENTIOUS INDIVIDUALS DEDICATED TO QUALITY CHILD CARE AND FAMILY SUPPORT SERVICES.

WE HOUSE BOYS AND GIRLS WHO ARE TROUBLED, ABUSED, NEGLECTED OR COME FROM TROUBLED FAMILIES. WE PROVIDE AN ALTERNATIVE LIVING ARRANGEMENT FOR THESE CHILDREN WHO CANNOT LIVE IN THEIR OWN HOMES OR UNDER ANY OTHER FAMILY CARE. WE STRENGTHEN CHARACTER BY MODELING CHRIST-CENTERED VALUES. WE TRANSFORM HEARTS AND CHANGE LIVES WHILE MAINTAINING OUR CORE VALUES, WHICH ARE BIBLE-BASED, PEOPLE ORIENTED AND WITH AN OBEDIENT SPIRIT. WE HAVE BEEN SERVING CHILDREN AND FAMILIES FOR OVER 30 YEARS. OVER THE LAST 3 DECADES APPROXIMATLY 700 CHILDREN HAVE CALLED THE RANCH "HOME". The Children's Foundation of Guelph & Wellington is headed by a Board of Directors composed of a group of community minded, progressive and highly dedicated volunteers. The Board is responsible for the operation of the Foundation including the management and administration of the Funds accessed through professional referrals. The Foundation secures funding through corporate and private donations, special event management, annual fund raising campaigns, direct mail campaigns and proposals to other Foundations. These revenues are then distributed through The Children's Fund and the Promoli Fund.
