Our Mission is to work so that no one is isolated because of Parkinson’s disease. Parkinson’s Resource Organization (PRO) is dedicated to improving quality of life for families and individuals affected by Parkinson’s disease through education, support, and practical resources. PRO was established in 1990 by caregivers who were overwhelmed and struggling to find the support network they needed. So they decided to create one. What started as Children of Parkinson's morphed into Parkinson's Resource Organization and today we continue to maximize quality of life for people with Parkinson's, their families, and caregivers through education, resources, and person-to-person support. PRO works to improve quality of life for everyone impacted by Parkinson’s. We do this through emotional and practical resources, support groups, educational materials, and access to a network of professionals who can provide guidance and assistance. Additionally, we advocate for the needs and rights of caregivers and patients, ensuring they receive the necessary care and resources. Caregivers play a crucial role in the management and support of Parkinson's patients. PRO acknowledges their efforts and aims to equip them with the tools and knowledge required to provide effective care. Through continuous outreach and dedicated services, we strives to create a supportive community where caregivers and patients can find the help and companionship they need.

Established in 1987, Global Health Ministries (GHM) continues the healing ministry of Jesus by enhancing health care programs of Lutheran churches in other countries. We pursue this mission by providing financial support for health care programs, receiving and shipping donated medical supplies and equipment, recruiting health care personnel for short term training projects, and collaborating with overseas partners in health care program development.

The AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety is dedicated to saving lives and reducing injuries on our roads. The impact of traffic crashes is felt by every person and every family, in every state across our country. Each year, more than 33,000 lives are lost and 3,000,000 injuries are sustained, all at an economic cost of more than $230 billion. We aim to identify problems, foster research that seeks solutions, and disseminate information and educational materials that promote good traffic safety practices.

Since 1895, we’ve provided adoption services to expectant mothers and families. Providence Place creates a space where people are accepted and have the support to take the lead on transforming their own story.

Founded in 1817, the American School for the Deaf is the country's oldest and Connecticut's only educational organization exclusively devoted to serving the deaf community. A private, non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization, ASD provides comprehensive educational services for deaf and deaf with special needs infants, children, youth, adults and their families. The school is located on a 54-acre, 14-building campus in West Hartford, Connecticut. The mission of the American School for the Deaf is to provide a comprehensive program for the development of the intellect and the enhancement of the quality of life for the deaf and hard of hearing community by serving as a multi-purpose institution furnishing educational and vocational programs for deaf children, youth, adults and their families.

Whole Me Inc. provides educational social services for deaf and hard-of-hearing children.

Guide Dogs of Texas provides quality guide dogs for Texans who are visually impaired to increase their freedom, mobility and independence. We are committed to personalized service and lifelong dedication to our clients and their guide dogs.

Since 1988, H.E.A.R., Hearing Education and Awareness For Rockers, mission is dedicated to the prevention of hearing loss and tinnitus. We cater particularly to the population most vulnerable to potential noise induced hearing loss ––young music lovers, musicians, DJs and their audiences and others in the music and entertainment industry––but extend our education, awareness, and advocacy to people from all walks of life. In addition to awareness, education and advocacy work, we provide music-hearing services in San Francisco and a directory of partners for other locales. In everything that we do, we strive to ensure that hearing conservation becomes part of every music education and music lifestyle. H.E.A.R. wants you and your loved ones to enjoy music, and the pleasure of hearing, for a long, long time.

Founded in 1996, this community based organization provides health care services through its legacy namesake, The James A. Watson Wellness Center. The non-profit charity foundation, Preventive Care Pathways, also provides educational outreach to underserved and/or marginalized communities throughout the Bay Area. Our goal is to decrease the disparities in health care services, education and mortality outcomes among those most marginalized or underserved through culturally sensitive care and education. We seek to start at the beginning, with the Youth of our community and "Keep Youth Alive" and firmly believe that "Art Saves Lives". The primary function of Preventive Care Pathways in serving the community is to bring together the resources that are most beneficial to our youth followed by incorporating Youth and their needs within the community of Adults in business and medicine, and especially in science, technology, reading, engineering, arts and mathematics or, in short, "S.T.R.E.A.M." "Remember, your health is your wealth and if you knew better you would do better! (c)". So we move to bring all of the educational instruments to our Youth and those who are there to support them, starting with our Youth in Arts Project. Please give generously and give frequently. Wigs for Kids provides hair replacement systems to children under the age of 18 who have lost their hair as a result of medical treatments, health conditions, or burn accidents. When children lose their hair, whether as a result of medical treatments, health conditions or burn accidents, they don't just suffer physically. The change in their appearance can drastically undermine their self-image and sabotage their self-esteem. To help heal the pain of these struggles, Certified Cosmetic Therapist Jeffrey Paul founded Wigs for Kids, a nonprofit organization that has been serving children suffering from hair loss since 1981. Wigs for Kids is a cooperative effort among Certified Cosmetic Therapists throughout North America who share a common goal. “Children shouldn’t have to worry about how they look, especially when they’re in the middle of a health crisis,” says Jeffrey Paul. “We want to give these kids the opportunity to feel good about themselves again.” The value of all children’s wigs Hair Replacements is $1,800. “These are custom-made Hair Replacements,” says Jeffrey Paul. “Each prosthesis is hand-tied and is made completely from human hair. We make sure they look just like a child’s own hair.” “They won’t come off on the baseball field or in the playground,” he adds. “Kids can count on them. And because kids look just the way they did before, they feel better about themselves. They look in the mirror and their eyes light up. To see that light in their eyes … that’s priceless.”
