AbilityFirst provides programs and services to help people with disabilities achieve their full potential throughout their lives. Our programs are person-centered and grounded in choice, autonomy and community participation. They empower individuals with autism spectrum disorders, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, and other intellectual/developmental disabilities to discover what is important to them in their lives, and to develop the skills that are important for them to achieve their goals.

Corporate Accountability International's (formerly Infact) mission is to stop life threatening abuses (public health, human rights, environmental) by transnational corporations and increase their accountability to people around the world.

HealthyWomen is the nation’s leading independent health information source for women. Their platform can be found at www.HealthyWomen.org. For more than 20 years, women have been coming to HealthyWomen for answers to their most pressing and personal health care questions. Through its wide array of online resources, HW provides health information that is original, objective, reviewed by medical experts and reflective of the advances in evidence-based health research. HealthyWomen has a history of providing unbiased and accurate health information. Over the years they have earned the trust of consumers, health care providers, nonprofits, corporate partners and the media. HealthyWomen is widely referenced in print, broadcast and online venues and has been named a top women's health site.

STARS exists to serve schools and communities by providing prevention, intervention, and treatment services, addressing bullying, substance abuse, violence, and other social and emotional barriers to success.

Street School, Inc. is a tuition-free, non-profit alternative education and therapeutic counseling program whose mission is to create a supportive community for students who have chosen to continue their education in a non-traditional setting. Street School's goal is to reduce the high school-dropout rate and provide at-risk students the skills necessary to be college and career ready. Street School focuses on students who are committed not only to their education, but also to resolving substance-abuse problems, learning and practicing life skills and dealing with behavioral issues. Enrollment in 1974 was 35 students, this year we served 130 and had to turn almost as many away.

The mission of Water Charity is to implement practical solutions to provide safe water, effective sanitation, and meaningful health education to those in need.

Since 1950, TLC-The Treatment and Learning Centers has been serving children and adults with special needs in the greater Washington, DC area through diagnostic, therapeutic, educational, and employment programs that meet the growing and changing needs of our community. TLC's vision is to be a highly visible, leading edge organization with strong collaborative and advocacy relationships, and plentiful resources that support quality programs, staff, and facilities for individuals with special needs.
