Our mission is to honor our elders, by respecting and promoting their independence, spiritual vigor, dignity, and choice, and by recognizing that they are a resource to be cherished. As part of our mission, we accept special responsibility for the frailest and neediest members of our community who are most dependent on our care.

The NYC LGBT Community Center (The Center) was established in 1983 at the height of the AIDS crisis to provide a safe and affirming place for LGBTQ+ New Yorkers to respond to the urgent threats facing the community. We are today—as we were then—a place of safety, connection, activism, and joy. Today, we have over 300,000 annual visitors; 400 community groups call our space home; and we offer a host of direct services to those seeking accessible, affordable and affirming support. For over 40 years, The Center has grown to meet the changing needs of New York’s LGBTQ+ community, delivering services that empower people to lead healthy, successful lives. Operating in-person and virtually, we provide recovery and wellness programs, economic advancement initiatives, family and youth support, advocacy, arts and cultural programming, and space for community organizing, connection, and celebration.

Brain Support Network (BSN) is a non-profit, charitable organization dedicated to three missions: 1) Providing information and support for anyone living with an atypical parkinsonism disorder (Progressive supranuclear palsy, Dementia with Lewy bodies, Multiple System Atrophy or Corticobasal degeneration) anywhere in the world; 2) Providing a support for care partners of those living with an atypical parkinsonism disorder in the San Francisco Bay Area; 3) Enabling families living anywhere in the US to donate the brain of anyone with any neurological condition (or healthy controls) to confirm the diagnosis and to further neurological research into causes, treatment options and cures.

METAvivor is dedicated to the specific fight of women and men living with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. At the time of METAvivor’s founding, no organization was dedicated to funding research for the disease and no patient groups were speaking out about the dearth of stage 4 cancer research. While more and more people have taken up the cry for more stage 4 research, METAvivor remains the sole US organization dedicated to awarding annual stage 4 breast cancer research.

Every Mother Counts is a non-profit organization dedicated to making pregnancy and childbirth safe for every mother. They inform, engage, and mobilize new audiences to take actions and raise funds that support maternal health programs around the world.

National Breast Cancer Foundation's (NBCF) mission is to save lives through early detection and to provide mammograms for those in need.Our mission includes increasing awareness through education, providing diagnostic breast care services for those in need, and providing nurturing support services.

Humble Design serves individuals, families, and veterans emerging from homelessness by transforming empty houses into welcoming homes using donated furniture and household goods. Our warehouses are curated by design teams that personalize homes based on our clients’ needs and preferences. More than a makeover, it’s a start over. We assist the transformation of lives in Chicago, Cleveland, Detroit, San Diego, and Seattle.
