The Fortune Society's mission is to support successful re-entry from prison and promote alternatives to incarceration, thus strengthening the fabric of our communities. We do this by: BELIEVING in the power of individuals to change, BUILDING LIVES through service programs shaped by the needs and experience of our clients, and CHANGING MINDS through education and advocacy that work to rectify unjust and brutal criminal justice policies.

The Walter Hoving Home, founded in 1967 to rebuild women’s lives shattered by drugs, alcohol and other life-controlling issues. The women are enrolled in a 6 to 12 month comprehensive program that addresses their physical, emotional and spiritual needs within an atmosphere of warmth, trust, support and love.

Helping homeless women and their children rebuild their lives. Founded in 1983, Win began as a shelter for four homeless women and their combined six children. Since then, Win has evolved to become a leading, non-profit agency and the largest provider of shelter for homeless families in New York City. We serve close to 12,000 homeless women and their children each year. Win has sharpened its focus from offering shelter and support to homeless women and children, to providing comprehensive programs and services that enable homeless families to succeed in life and break the cycle of homelessness. Groundbreaking programs developed by Win are: Win Academy, Income Building Program, Children’s Afterschool, Mentorship and Recreation.

LA Recovery Connect (LARC) provides housing and supportive services that foster self-confidence and build healthy connections for people in recovery from alcohol and substance use.

A link leading from the past to the future, Gilly’s House is a residential program for young men who have struggled with addiction and want to continue their recovery. Gilly’s House offers a stable, structured, supportive and safe environment to achieve personal goals, while attaining the transitional life skills necessary to reintegrate into community life. Caring for the needs of each individual, Gilly’s House collaboratively works with each young man to develop personal goals and a plan to reach them. Gilly’s House offers the opportunity for social, educational and vocational growth. Gilly’s House prepares young men to re-enter life with a positive step forward, personal skills, and community connections to continue to meet individual goals and live a successful life of sobriety.

OUR GOAL IS TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE WITHIN RURAL NORTH CAROLINA COMMUNITIES THROUGH THE IMPLEMENTATION OF HEALTH RELATED SERVICES. WE FOCUS ON BASIC LIFE SKILLS, HEALTH PROMOTION/WELLNESS AND SELF-ESTEEM DEVELOPMENT. OUR ORGANIZATION PROVIDES RESOURCES TOWARD REMOVING BARRIERS AND INEQUALITIES TO ACHIEVE PERSONAL FULFILLMENT.

Healthcare Alternative Systems (HAS) provides a continuum of multicultural and bilingual (English/Spanish) behavioral care and social services that empower individuals, families and communities.

Founded in 2004, The McShin Foundation is a non-profit Recovery Community Organization committed to serving individuals and families in their fight against Substance Use Disorders.

Prevent youth/teen suicide by teaching young people to recognize the warning signs of depression and suicide and to seek professional help for themselves and others. We currently serve students within Northeast Ohio - encompassing 12 counties.

The Mission of the Mahoning County Medical Society Alliance is to promote the goals of the Mahoning County Medical Society, to inform and support the medical family, and to enhance the quality of life through health education, legislation, and community service throughout Mahoning County.
