Reach Recovery is a Christ-centered ministry created to reach, engage, and restore hope to adults and families battling drug and alcohol dependencies.
Their mission is to partner with people in Haiti to educate as many children as possible, provide healthcare to the children in the school, and to help their Haitian sisters and brothers to help themselves to provide safe drinking water to help break the cycle of poverty for themselves and their children. The mission of the Sophia Sunshine Foundation is to bring joy and connectivity into the universe through various acts of kindness that empower children experiencing adversity, especially those battling pediatric cancer. Sophia’s love for horses, dogs, dance, music, art, books, golf and tennis brought her a tremendous amount of joy and laughter, even during her most challenging weeks. Through the Sophia Sunshine Foundation, we want to help others experience that joy and heart-mind well-being through activities such as equine therapy, service dog sponsorship and literacy outreach. We also support pediatric cancer research towards a cure for DIPG.
It is our mission to provide an environment where residents are afforded the opportunity to be law-abiding, productive members of society; healthy in body, mind and spirit; and of maximum helpfulness to others. The Milestone House has been passionate about recovery since its inception since 2002. After 20 years of serving the community, we proudly transitioned into a non-profit agency with 501 (c) 3 tax exempt status. Our houses are accredited by the New Jersey Alliance of Recovery Residence. We currently have five facilities located in historic Dover, New Jersey.
