Save the Michaels raises awareness of prescription and other drug addictions. Abuse and misuse of these controlled substances leads to serious illness, depression, deaths from overdose and suicide, and the devastation of caregivers and loved ones. Save the Michaels House of Hope and Community Resources supports families during their loved one's journey through addiction and into remission. We provide a nurturing and supportive environment to parents, grandparents and spouses of addicted individuals. We practice compassion and promote education, self-help and wrap-around care before, during, and after treatment.

Since 2017, MedGlobal has worked to build the capacity of healthcare systems within countries affected by armed conflict, natural disasters, a lack of resources, and climate change. We have worked with national healthcare systems and individual hospitals and health facilities to design training and education for their healthcare workers, to improve physical infrastructure, policies, and protocols, and to provide the medications, medical supplies, equipment, and technology that they need to treat their patients.MedGlobal’s culturally diverse teams respond to the world’s humanitarian crisis by partnering with communities to provide innovative, sustainable, and dignified healthcare.

The Lantern's mission is to provide quality sober living to the chemically dependent person and to educate and assist people with recovery from drug and alcohol addiction. The Lantern's long-term care philosophy is based on a 12-step model that recognizes drug and alcohol addictions as progressive, chronic and potentially fatal diseases. Our organization is open to all adult men and has no residency restrictions, while the geographic service area is primarily focused on Cuyahoga County, many of our residents are also drawn from the outlying suburbs.

AshaUSA's m​ission is to provide culturally specific programs to the South Asian community t​​o foster health and harmony in their lives. Formed in July, 2014 in Minnesota, AshaUSA (Asha means hope) is a non-profit organization focused on engaging and empowering South Asian women, men, and children through culturally specific programs and services. Over 3.4 million South Asians (originally from India, Pakistan, Bhutan, Nepal, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka) live in the United States out of which about 44,000 live in Minnesota (2010 census). 75% of South Asian Minnesotans are first generation immigrants. The South Asian population in Minnesota has more than doubled since 2000. With the increase in population, challenges associated with acculturation in terms of health, youth development, and family relationships have become more distinct. There is a need for culturally specific programs that proactively address acculturation challenges for the South Asian community in Minnesota. ​

Guided by a passion to educate and empower patients to pro-actively inquire about the short and long term side effects of prescription medicine before accepting them, MedShadow Foundation seeks to help people understand the risks & benefits of medicines and prompt discussions between the patient and health care provider. This includes asking deeper questions to a physician or pharmacist, looking at the pros and cons of prescription drugs, and if appropriate, exploring other options. We empower our readers to learn about prescription drugs and become an engaged advocate in their own health and wellbeing.

For 40 years, Janus has remained dedicated to providing supportive, hope-inspiring and successful addiction treatment services in a professional and compassionate environment while assisting individuals and families on their journey toward wellness and recovery. Janus of Santa Cruz is the longest standing non-profit drug and alcohol treatment program on the Central Coast. Our credentialed staff provides a full scope of services and support for individuals and families, including detoxification, inpatient and outpatient treatment, perinatal treatment, DUI education, medication assisted treatment, behavioral health services, and sober housing.

Radiant Futures is building a safer community in Orange County. Originally founded as Womens Transitional Living Center, we were the first domestic violence agency in Orange County and the third in the United States. For over 45 years, weve been a committed partner and solid presence in our community. As Radiant Futures, our work continues to evolve as we provide inclusive, comprehensives services to everyone impacted by domestic violence and human trafficking. To build a community free of harm, we also equip our neighbors with education to prevent violence and abuse.

ASD currently operates four Special Care Facilities licensed by the Texas Department of Health: The Ewing Center, Revlon Apartments, Hillcrest House, and Spencer Gardens. ASD serves an average of 175 men, women and children in 152 total bedrooms within 125 privately configured units. Seventy-six percent (76%) of the agency's resident population are racial or ethnic minorities, 24 percent were women. One hundred percent (100%) of the people served by ASD are significantly below the federal poverty line and are classified either as low- or very-low income. The agency has provided more than 326,000 person/nights of housing to more than 1,100 individuals and family members living with AIDS. Along with a home and a mutually supportive community environment, residents at each facility are provided with a range of services individually tailored to empower them to cope with the cyclical impact HIV/AIDS has on people who are living with a disease that often compromises their complete independence.

Network works with incarcerated men and women and those released from prison to help them rebuild their lives to avoid recidivism, and become responsible family members as well as productive, stable citizens in their communities. Network in the Prisons sponsors voluntary therapeutic communities within New York State correctional facilities to promote positive individual growth and change, encourage education and skills development, and foster a respectful connection to the larger society. Network in the Community offers therapeutic support and reentry services, both directly and through partnering community providers, individualized to ensure successful reintegration to the community.

Our mission is to take swift and decisive action to protect and restore marine species and their habitats and to inspire people in communities all over the world to join us as active and vocal marine species advocates. The Sea Turtle Restoration Project (STRP), founded in 1989, TIRN's oldest and largest project, works to protect and restore endangered sea turtle populations worldwide in ways that meet the needs of the turtles and the needs of neighboring local communities using grassroots action, multimedia campaigns, hands-on conservation, environmental education, and litigation. STRP's sponsoring nonprofit is Turtle Island Restoration Network or TIRN.
