The mission of Hornbuckle Foundation is to provide hope and support to people suffering from substance use disorder, by assisting them in finding tools and resources to transition into productive and positive members of society.

Addiction is Real is a 501c3 non-profit organization that exists to provide parents and other adults with the tools they need to discuss the dangers of substance use with children and recognize the behaviors and factors that can lead to substance use and addiction (substance use disorder).

Our mission is to create self-sustainable programs that empower women and their families. We strive to improve their health, education, and economic status in the communities where they live. These sustainable strategies are culturally, environmentally and practically sound. While we aim to be pragmatic, results-oriented organization that partners with other like minded organizations, we monitor outcomes. Our goal is to be scientifically sound and operationally transparent.

March for Moms helps to align and coordinate the efforts of families, healthcare providers, policymakers and other partners who are acting to achieve the best possible health and well-being of all mothers.

Mission Rabies is an international NGO headquartered in the UK with offices in the USA, India and Thailand. Despite being eliminated from many countries, rabies still takes a devastating toll on the world’s most marginalized and vulnerable. Existing models of rabies prevention remain inappropriate for implementation in most countries that remain rabies endemic, because they lie at the bottom of the UN HDR rankings. Since 2013, Mission Rabies has been implementing vaccination and education programs where the need is greatest, collecting evidence and sharing lessons to make global elimination a reality. The goal of Mission Rabies is to eliminate dog-mediated human deaths caused by rabies by 2030 through mega vaccination drives and educating communities at risk on the disease.

Hope Haven is a Therapeutic Community that provides a foundation of recovery for individuals and families impacted by substance use disorder so they can build healthy independent lives.

MHO achieves its mission through its services of Emergency Home Repair,Rural Home Rehabilitation, New Homes, Self-Help Homeownership, Downpayment Assistance, and Community Rental Investments. These programs are offered to low income residents of Asheville and Buncombe County. Priorities are given to elderly, disabled, and working, one- or two- parent households.
