The mission of the Sophia Sunshine Foundation is to bring joy and connectivity into the universe through various acts of kindness that empower children experiencing adversity, especially those battling pediatric cancer. Sophia’s love for horses, dogs, dance, music, art, books, golf and tennis brought her a tremendous amount of joy and laughter, even during her most challenging weeks. Through the Sophia Sunshine Foundation, we want to help others experience that joy and heart-mind well-being through activities such as equine therapy, service dog sponsorship and literacy outreach. We also support pediatric cancer research towards a cure for DIPG.

Going Beyond the Pink works to empower people affected by breast cancer by providing practical education, patient navigation, local support services (care bags, wigs/prosthetics), workshops, and targeted financial assistance. The organization focuses on helping patients in southeastern North Carolina move through diagnosis, treatment, and into survivorship with information and community-based resources.

HERHealthEQ is driving health equity by providing medical devices and equipment to developing countries for women's health issues. HERHealthEQ's vision is a world where healthcare, medical devices, and equipment are accessible to all women, equally. Women are the cornerstone of the family unit. When a woman becomes ill and does not receive the care she needs, the entire family unit is at greater risk of remaining in a cycle of poverty. We focus on providing equipment involved in the treatment of the top non-communicable diseases (NCDs) that affect the developing world which include cancers affecting women, maternal health, diabetes, and heart disease.
