We envision a day where every community is equipped and empowered to develop sustainable solutions to the problems that place their children in crisis. This vision is brought to life through engaging with communities to spearhead initiatives that are conceived, developed, and sustained by the very people they aim to benefit. By amplifying local voices and knowledge, we construct programs that are culturally appropriate and contextually relevant and always focused on empowering individuals to lead self-sufficient lives.

Food For Thought's mission is to foster health and healing with food and compassion.

Founded in 1988 by Paul Newman, The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp is a community dedicated to providing “a different kind of healing” to children and their families coping with cancer, sickle cell anemia, and other serious illnesses. Through summer sessions and family weekends at the Camp in Ashford, Connecticut and year-round outreach to hospitals and clinics across the Northeast, the Camp serves more than 20,000 children and family members annually. All services are provided free of charge.

The mission of Project Angel Food is to nourish the body and spirit of men, women, and children affected by HIV/AIDS, cancer, and other life-threatening illnesses. Our goal is to make sure no one in our community suffers the ravages of hunger and malnutrition while struggling with serious illnesses. Without our daily meal deliveries, clients risk malnutrition and deteriorating health since they are unable to provide their own meals. Project Angel Food acts with urgency as hunger and illness do not wait.

The Los Angeles LGBT Center (formerly L.A. Gay and Lesbian Center) exists to: EMPOWER people to lead full and rewarding lives without limits based on sexual orientation and gender identity, by providing the highest quality educational, cultural, and wellness programs to residents of Los Angeles County; HEAL the damage caused by discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity, by providing the highest quality health and social services to residents of Los Angeles County in need; ADVOCATE full access and equality for all people regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity, by promoting our communities' needs at local, state, and national levels; and LEAD through example, by living our values, sharing our expertise, and celebrating the full diversity of our lives, families, and communities.

Orphan kids Help Foundation;we provide resources to orphanages that enable children to sustain their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. We also try to build awareness of the despair faced by orphan children around the world and the ways in which their needs can be addressed. Fostering development efforts that bring about self-sufficiency to individual homes and the children raised in them.We think of our work as a vehicle to create opportunities for children hoping for a better future. At Radiant Health Centers, our mission is to provide the LGBTQ+ community medical services that are compassionate and comprehensive while continuing to serve those living with and affected by HIV. Our vision is LGBTQ+ healthcare equity and the end of the HIV epidemic in Orange County.

San Francisco AIDS Foundation works to end the HIV epidemic in the city where it began, and eventually everywhere. Established in 1982, our mission is the radical reduction of new infections in San Francisco because we refuse to accept HIV as inevitable. Through education, advocacy and direct services for prevention and care, we are confronting HIV in communities most vulnerable to the disease.
