St. Joseph's Hospital Foundation raises funds for St. Joseph's Hospital, your community hospital in Hillsborough County. We are not-for-profit; we are responsible to you, to our community, and not to shareholders. We are unique. We are the only hospital 1. to never turn away a patient, 2. with the busiest emergency center in the county, 3. treating more Hillsborough County residents for cancer than any other hospital in the community, 4. one of nine hospitals in the country implanting Mosaic heart valves, 5. offering the only Pediatric Cardiac Catherization Lab in the region, 6. providing more gynecological and obstetrical services in Florida's only free-standing women's hospital, 7. offering health screenings and wellness information to more than 4500 under-served people in 2000 through Wellness On Wheels. When you or a loved one are in an accident or gets sick, the helicopter or ambulance isn't going to take you to a research hospital. They are going to bring you to a hospital like St. Joseph's. We are here for you, offering the very best medical care and services, just as we have since 1934. The St. Joseph's Hospital of Tampa Foundation, Inc. provides philanthropic support for St. Joseph's Hospital (The Cancer Institute and The Heart Institute), St. Joseph's Women's Hospital and Tampa Children's Hospital, as well as wellness programs throughout Hillsborough County.

To provide optimal health for the region’s children by providing patient- and family-centered care, education, research and child advocacy.

To provide substantial funding to support the highest quality of patient care by Deborah Heart and Lung Center, to provide for treatment of children with congenital heart disease in the United States and around the world; and to provide for clinical research for cardiac, pulmonary and vascular diseases by fostering and maintaining the Foundation’s grassroots volunteer movement, its alliances with corporations, labor organizations, service organizations, foundations and others and by its initiation and enhancement of planned giving programs and other fundraising activities. In partnership with the Center, the Foundation will continue to heighten awareness of the name of Deborah and its unique healthcare and fundraising activities to serve more people without distinction as to race, gender, sexual preference, creed, color, religion, age, national origin, handicap, or ability to pay.

The mission of Northwest Assistance Ministries (NAM) is to strive to meet basic human needs through Neighbors helping Neighbors.

To provide access to medical care, mental health services, and health and nutrition education services, regardless of the ability to pay. Their comprehensive approach helps students, parents, and the community combat the wide range of physical, psychosocial and environmental needs that arise from difficult daily living conditions in Haiti.

Supporting research at the Brain Tumor Program at Lurie Children's Hospital. Almost all funding for pediatric brain tumor research comes from private donations. All donations will be directed to Lurie Children’s. Wyatt's Nuero-oncologist, Dr. Rishi Lulla, recently published an article describing his team's success in killing DIPG (a deadly cancer found in children) in mice and hopes to begin a clinical trial by the end of 2017.
