HopeWell Cancer Support's mission is to create a community for all people with cancer, their families and friends, that encourages an exchange of information, the development of a support system, and the presence of hope.

Ongoing grief support services are also offered to the families and to anyone in the community who has experienced the death of a loved one.Since its inception in 1978, all services have been provided free of charge to patients and their families; VHOCC does not bill any government agency for its services
