Our mission is to serve as a resource for the community to ease the readjustment and reintegration of military members returning from our current wars and their families, as well as veterans from previous eras. We work towards peace and healing by providing the services required, advocating for clients, assisting the community at large in finding these services through other agencies, or facilitating the creation of programs by individual organizations. In addition, we strive to help develop future mental healthcare professionals who work with our demographic by offering internships and other professional development opportunities. In this way we are able to directly address the constantly growing need for well-trained providers to our community.

Community Based Care of Central Florida envisions a world in which every child has a safe, loving and nurturing home – free from abuse, neglect and abandonment. Our services include Fostering, Adoption and Diversion. As the region’s leading child welfare organization, we serve more than 3,000 kids each day. Our services include foster care, adoption, mentoring and youth transitional services – along with resources that strengthen and empower families. Empowering Children and Families was born out of experience working with children and families whose needs weren’t being met. A dedicated and compassionate group of people decided to join forces and build an organization to help kids and families. It was and is the right thing to do. Our mission is to help children and families construct and sustain a healthy foundation for the future. We do this by taking the time to establish trust and build a collaborative relationship. Many parents are too afraid to ask for help and if they do, they cycle through program after program with little to no progress. ECF makes a difference with families by providing a comprehensive “roadmap” unique to each family’s strengths and challenges that is culturally responsive.

The Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance (DBSA) provides support groups, advocacy, educational programs, empowerment, recovery tools, and information to people living with depression and bipolar disorder in the United States. DBSA San Jose is a local chapter serving the Silicon Valley with peer-led support group meetings, wellness tools, and resource information for the South Bay area. Empowering youth and adults to lead confident, courageous and stress-free lives through free workshops and support groups

Founded in 2016, Caring Heart Advocates, Inc mission is to raise awareness of mental illness and physical disability in Africa and all around the world. We help children and young adults with many health issues that have been faced with devastation due to war, middle or poor income family through out their lifetime and the lack of education of families who prefer to hide their children wait for death to take them away. The cost of effective treatments, therapy and education for those children on a daily basis is very high, most people in rural areas cannot afford health insurance and education for their children. Caring hearts advocates collects, sorts, ships and distributes wheelchairs, food clothing, medications, electricity for the facilities sheltering those children.

It is our mission to provide safe and supportive housing and services for homeless LGBTQ youth and their allies.

Our mission at NAMI Arapahoe/Douglas Counties is to provide education, support, and advocacy for people whose lives are impacted by mental illness. NAMI is the National Alliance on Mental Illness.

New Day for Children works to provide tangible hope and help to American families of sex trafficked children.

Originally founded in downtown LA as an orphanage, our initial mission was simply to provide safety to children who had no home. In time, our mission expanded to also focus on the well-being of our clients and caring for the mental and emotional health of children who were increasingly coming to us as a result of abuse or neglect. Having grown to an agency caring for nearly 8,700 children and family members annually across five counties, we now strive for permanency – a permanent, loving home – for all those in our care. These three pillars; safety, well-being and permanency provide the framework for all of Five Acres’ current programs and they will guide our steps in the future as we continue seeking even more effective means of caring for children and families in crisis. For over 129 years Five Acres has been committed to preserving successful childcare programs and developing innovative services for children and families in crisis. With over 100,000 clients served since its founding in 1888, Five Acres currently cares for 8,700 children and families annually, across five counties including Los Angeles. With strong stability and the chance to stay in a loving home, children are able to rebuild their sense of belonging and grow.

First Candle is committed to ending Sudden Infant Death Syndrome and other sleep-related infant deaths while providing bereavement support to families who have experienced a loss.
