The mission of Vashon Youth and Family Services is to foster a thriving community of emotionally healthy and resilient children, youth, adults and families on Vashon-Maury Island (Vashon) in unincorporated King County, Washington.Our vision is for Vashon to be a supported, empowered, inclusive and caring Island community where all flourish.

EveryMind strengthens communities and empowers individuals to reach optimal mental wellness. Since 1957, EveryMind has been a trusted mental health resource providing direct services, community education and advocacy which bring healing, hope and wholeness to children, youth, adults, veterans and families. While EveryMind provides services throughout the entire National Capital Region, our services typically target the community’s most vulnerable and low-income residents. In the past year, EveryMind provided direct services to more than 15,000 individuals. EveryMind’s programs and services are directed at reducing the stigma associated with mental illness and ensuring our entire community has the resources they need to reach optimal mental wellness. These programs include: Friendly Visitor, which combats loneliness and isolation among older adults; Linkages to Learning, which provides school-based mental health services for at-risk students and families; Representative Payee, which helps individuals with a disability or mental illness manage their finances; ServingTogether, which coordinates a network of resources for veterans, service members and their families; case management and counseling services for children, youth, adults and families; and crisis prevention and intervention services for the entire community.

Harmony Heights is a therapeutic residential and day school for teenage girls with emotional, educational and social challenges that cannot be adequately served in the standard high school setting. Our dedicated professionals strive to empower these young women with self-confidence and the skills necessary to transition to higher education and careers.

GiGi’s Playhouse Down Syndrome Achievement Center’s mission is to change the way the world views Down syndrome through national campaigns, educational programs, and by empowering individuals with Down syndrome, their families and the community. We offer free therapeutic and educational programming to individuals with Down syndrome and their families.

MEDA is a non-profit organization dedicated to the prevention and treatment of eating disorders and disordered eating. MEDA's mission is to prevent the continuing spread of eating disorders through educational awareness and early detection. MEDA serves as a support network and resource for clients, loved ones, clinicians, educators, and the general public.

Voices Beyond Assault is a survivor-led nonprofit that supports and empowers survivors of sexual and domestic violence by providing trauma-informed therapeutic programs, advocacy, resources, and community education. They emphasize BIPOC-inclusive services, prevention education, and innovative healing approaches to help survivors recover and amplify their voices.

The fund provides college scholarships to qualified individuals — primarily children and spouses of FBI agents who died while employed (or within one year of retirement) — to help cover costs for associate/bachelor degrees or trade certifications. It operates as a charitable scholarship fund administered under the FBI Agents Association.
