Community Crisis Center, Inc. provides Safety, Hope, Advocacy, Respite and Education for those impacted by crisis and violence in Elgin, the Fox Valley Region and Illinois

Breaking Free is a Minnesota-based non-profit and social justice/social change organization founded in 1996 by Vednita Carter. Every year, Breaking Free helps over 500 women escape systems of prostitution and sexual exploitation through advocacy, direct services, housing, and education. Our main offices are located in St. Paul, Minnesota, with a branch in Minneapolis. Breaking Free's doors are open to women throughout Minnesota and the United States.

To provide safe emergency housing in a drug free environment for single mothers and their children. We help each family transition into a stable homes by providing them with developmental tools such as family counseling, mentoring, job readiness and emergency child development.

We provide compassionate, comprehensive services to those impacted by rape, sexual abuse, and domestic violence, while partnering with our community to promote safety, hope, healing, justice, and prevention

To Be the First Step for Women Facing an Unplanned Pregnancy

Founded March 2016, My Sisters Arms mission is to provide emergency and transitional housing to women and children who are or have experienced domestic abuse. My Sisters Arms vision is to educate, advocate and participate in the prevention of domestic and sexual abuse in our community.

Our Mission: Provide women with the tools needed to live a Victorious Life using biblical principles and relying on their faith in Jesus Christ. Touching, changing and developing the life of the woman, through discipleship, mentorship and career development; preparing her for the Call and Promise of God on her life in her home, her church and her community.

Magdalena House is a neighborhood of transitional homes that serves mothers and their children who have fled dangerous and abusive lives. We provide transformation through education, nurturing community, and programming.

Our mission is to enable women and their children to transition from a life of homelessness and poverty to one of stability and self-sufficiency.

Our mission is to promote healthy relationships by providing education, intervention and safe places.
