THE MISSION OF THE ORGANIZATION IS TO ENSURE SAFETY AND STABILITY FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE BATTERED, ABUSED, HOMELESS OR AT RISK; TO CREATE PUBLIC AWARENESS ABOUT THE EPIDEMIC OF VIOLENCE; AND TO MOBILIZE THE COMMUNITY TO PREVENT VIOLENCE AND END THIS RECURRING PHENOMENON. ITS GOAL IS TO RESTORE A SENSE OF DIGNITY, SELF-SUFFICIENCY AND INCREASED INDEPENDENCE IN WOMEN, MEN, CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES, ENABLING THEM TO RECLAIM THEIR LIVES AND ACHIEVE LONG-TERM SAFETY AND SUCCESS.

The Cocoon Shelter, so-named to reflect a victim's transformation as she achieves independence from interpersonal abuse, is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide a place for safety, healing, and justice for battered women and their children.

Our purpose is to minimize the trauma experienced by child abuse victims by providing a child friendly facility where representatives from many disciplines convene to investigate, treat, prosecute and prevent child abuse.

COUNSELING, EDUCATION, SUPPORT FOR VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE ANE SEXUAL ABUSE.

TO SUPPORT AND ASSIST VICTIMS OF SEXUAL VIOLENCE; PROVIDE EDUCATION, ALLIED PROFESSIONAL TRAINING, AND COMMUNITY OUTREACH, AND PROMOTE AN EFFECTIVE, COLLABORATIVE, MULTI-DISCIPLINARY RESPONSE TO SEXUAL VIOLENCE IN OUR COMMUNITY.

To prevent domestic violence and sexual assault, provide services for victims, and create community awareness around these issues.

THE WOMEN'S CENTER OF NORTHWEST INDIANA PROVIDES FREE SUPPORT FOR SERVICES TO WOMEN AND THEIR CHILDREN.

The organization is dedicated to saving the lives of unborn children threatened by abortion through the most effective, morally acceptable means of reaching, informing and helping their mothers and families with appropriate loving alternatives

In collaboration with local partners and all affected by abuse, TTD’s mission is to create innovative responses, mobilize our community, promote safety, and challenge oppression and systems of violence.

Mission To engage individuals and the community to end domestic violence in Penobscot and Piscataquis Counties in Maine. We provide support, advocacy, and safety planning to anyone affected by domestic abuse. They foster safe and healthy relationships through prevention, education, and training. Together with their community they recognize the nature of abuse, respond to it, and change the conditions which lead to it.

New Hope for Women offers support to people in Sagadahoc, Lincoln, Knox and Waldo Counties affected by domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking, and provides educational resources to assist our communities in creating a safer and healthier future.

Their mission is to offer hope, support, and advocacy to victims and people affected by sexual assault and stalking, ​to provide education about sexual violence, and to promote prevention. We support Maine's Penobscot & Piscataquis Counties.
