Their mission is to provide a safe place for Haitian women to receive compassionate and respectful maternity care. They are dedicated to improving the health and well being of the women and infants of Haiti, one woman and one child at a time. This vision is achieved through the application of evidence based midwifery care, delivered primarily by Haitian midwives and supported by volunteer midwives from around the world. Healthy women make for healthy families. Their goal is to offer services to women that will decrease their risk of dying from what should be a normal life event: pregnancy and birth. However, Haiti has the highest infant and maternal mortality rate in the Western Hemisphere. It is their core belief that no woman or child should ever die because of where they live.

Knoxville Family Justice Center’s (KFJC) mission is to facilitate a coordinated and comprehensive approach to family violence through collaboration, education, and advocacy. Their vision for the Knox County, Tennessee area is to create a community of strong, healthy families from the devastating effects of violence.

The mission of Legacy Family Ministries is to heal, restore, and strengthen vulnerable children, young adults, and families in the Gunnison Valley through the enabling and transforming power of Jesus Christ.

The mission of Synergy Services, Inc is to strengthen the individual, family, and community through crisis intervention, shelter, counseling, advocacy, and education. Synergy provides a "lifeline for families and individuals in crisis."  Through an interconnected set of services, the agency provides individuals and families with prevention education, immediate respite from violence, and support to assist them in their ability to find and choose good options for safe and successful futures.

Providing Support for a Change

Mothers For Justice United Inc works to support bereaved mothers, elevate their voices to advocate for justice, and eliminate race-based violence in minority communities by police and vigilantes. Mothers for Justice United is engaged in advocacy on two main, somewhat overlapping fronts: police accountability and reform; and mental health, particularly as it interacts with policing.

The mission of the Idaho Anti-Trafficking Coalition is to work alongside community members in providing awareness, education, services, and safe housing for victims of human trafficking.

Preventing teen dating violence through awareness, education, and advocacy. Our 'Gaming Against Violence' program is an award-winning and evidence-based approach to violence prevention through prosocial games. We produce, publish, and research intentionally designed prosocial games to engage, educate, and empower young people about important issues affecting them. The topics addressed by these games include bystander awareness, consent, cultural literacy, gaslighting, healthy relationships, media literacy, power and control, resilience, and teen dating violence warning signs. Jennifer Ann's Group does this work in memory of Jennifer Crecente.

The mission of Phoenix Crisis Center is to empower persons impacted by domestic violence to live safely and free from further violence.

Take Back The Night seeks to end sexual violence in all of its forms including sexual assault, sexual abuse, dating violence, and domestic violence. TBTN empowers survivors in the healing process and inspires responsibility in all. Our goal is to create safe communities and respectful relationships through awareness events and initiatives.
