Organized Communities Against Deportations

Organized Communities Against Deportations (OCAD) is an undocumented-led group that organizes against deportations, detention, criminalization, and incarceration, of Black, brown, and immigrant communities in Chicago and surrounding areas. Through grassroots organizing, legal and policy work, and cross-movement building, we aim to defend our communities, challenge the institutions that target and dehumanize us, and build collective power. We fight alongside families and individuals challenging these systems to create an environment for our communities to thrive, work, and organize.

Season Of Justice

Season of Justice (SOJ) is a nonprofit dedicated to providing funding to investigative agencies and families to help push their unsolved cases closer to resolution. By providing grants for DNA analysis, such as forensic genealogy and next-gen sequencing, SOJ strives to bridge the funding gap preventing agencies from accessing resources that could help solve these complex cases. SOJ also works directly with families to fund comprehensive awareness campaigns and other initiatives that can push their unsolved cases forward.

Peace River K9 Search And Rescue Association

Their mission is to save lives and bring closure to families who are missing loved ones. Over 1/2 a million people go missing each year in the U.S., and 1200 children a day! They assist local, state, military, federal and private agencies as well as families in the recovery of lost, missing and abducted persons in urban, wilderness, natural and man-made disasters, while proactively educating response agencies and the community about the capabilities of Search and Rescue. Through hard training and acquired expertise, Peace River K9 Search and Rescue strives to be a leader and preferred service provider to Law Enforcement and Emergency Management.
