The mission of Hope House is to break the cycle of domestic violence by providing safe refuge and supportive services that educate and empower those impacted by domestic violence. Hope House will advocate social change that protects and engenders a person’s right to live a life free of abuse.

Founded in 1976, House of Ruth empowers women, children, and families to rebuild their lives and heal from trauma, abuse, and houselessness. Through 14 programs in Washington, DC, we serve women, children, and families who are striving to overcome childhood trauma, domestic violence, homelessness, mental health disorders, and poverty.  Our continuum of services encompasses enriched housing for families and single women; trauma-informed childcare; and free counseling to empower anyone, regardless of gender, who is a survivor of trauma and abuse.

CASA of the South Plains inspires, educates, and empowers solution-minded community members who are committed to supporting the best interest of children in the foster care system.Volunteer advocates create connections and promote nurturing relationships for the child and family, encouraging hope and healing.Through court appointment and collaborative efforts, volunteer advocates share informed recommendations for the well-being of the child.

The School of Leadership, Afghanistan (SOLA) is an Afghan-led private boarding school for Afghan girls, the first of its kind in Afghanistan. SOLA's mission is to provide Afghan girls a rigorous education that promotes critical thinking, a sense of purpose, and respect for self and others.

NARF's objectives are to protect the rights of and seek justice for tribes and Native peoples. In the words of Executive Director John Echohawk, They ask for nothing more, and will accept nothing less than the U.S. Government keeping the promises it has made to Native Americans." NARF currently represents more than 60 tribes in 20 states on a wide range of critical matters, including land into trust, federal recognition, subsistence hunting & fishing, federal trust responsibilities, protection of sacred places, voting rights, sovereign immunity, Indian Child Welfare, water rights and environmental issues.

Lambert House empowers lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning (LGBTQ+) youth through the development of leadership, social, and life skills.

We envision a world where important stories are told by the communities who know them best in order to inform laws, systems and policies that promote justice and equality for all. To make that vision a reality, p.h. balanced films supports women working toward social justice and policy change through multi-day knowledge exchange sessions on the use of film and storytelling for advocacy purposes and a mentorship program to provide ongoing, global support of their efforts.

Trans Families inspires hope, increases understanding, and creates a visible pathway to support trans and gender-diverse children and all those who touch their lives. As our mission states, Trans Families seeks to inspire hope, increase understanding, and create a visible pathway to support trans and gender-diverse children, and all those who touch their lives. As we’ve reflected on how we might best accomplish this, we’ve named what we feel is the core foundation of our work – showing up in a “heart first” way. Trans Families is committed to building community where connections are scarce. Families of gender diverse children often feel a sense of personal isolation, challenges finding accurate resources, and an inability to make connections with other families who have shared experience

As one of Florida's 42 Certified Domestic Violence Centers,Haven of Lake & Sumter Counties, Inc. was established in 1977 to meet the needs of domestic violence victims. Our primary objectives are to provide these victims with alternatives to abuse or life-threatening situations, and empowerment to establish a violence-free life.
