Equality Now's mission is to achieve legal and systemic change that addresses violence and discrimination against women and girls around the world. Donating to Kidsave gives older, forgotten orphans and foster kids a chance at finding a family. These kids are often hidden from view with little or no opportunity to meet people who might adopt or mentor them. Thanks to George and Kathryn Hicker every unrestricted gift – whether it’s a monthly sponsorship, tribute ad or straight donation will be matched up to $100,000. Kidsave advocates for permanent, safe and stable families for all children and gives kids growing up in foster care and orphanages summer or weekend visits with host families who get to know the child and team with Kidsave to help that child find a family. When people meet these remarkable children the vast majority of children are adopted or connected with a committed mentor.

Founded by UCLA students in 1982, Outfest is the leading organization that promotes equality by creating, sharing and protecting LGBT stories on the screen. Outfest builds community by connecting diverse populations to discover, discuss and celebrate stories of LGBT lives. Over the past three decades, Outfest has showcased thousands of films from around the world to audiences of nearly a million, educated and mentored hundreds of emerging filmmakers and protected more than 20,000 LGBT films and videos.

The Miss America Foundation strives to change lives and influence young women across the country and around the world. We proudly offer academic and community-based scholarships for undergraduate and graduate studies, as well as endowed scholarships for those young women attending medical school, working in special areas for military service awareness, STEM, and in the performing arts. The Miss America Foundation, Inc. is a New Jersey not-for-profit corporation that provides academic scholarships to young women. To provide a neighborhood learning center for school-age children served by Title I (federally subsidized) public schools, especially in areas experiencing underperformance in academic, behavior and social skills. We provide a positive volunteer team of parents and neighbors to assist in scheduled activities and sponsored events to improve skills, lessen the dependence on government programs, thwart neighborhood tensions, prevent community deterioration, and deter juvenile delinquency

Approximately 3,000 children in Dallas go to sleep each night without a home of their own. We’re on a mission to help young children overcome the lasting and traumatic effects of homelessness. It is our vision that every child in our community has a home, a self-sufficient family and a foundation for success in school and life — and the clock is ticking. 90% of brain development happens by the age of five.
