Birthright Lake, Inc. offers free, non-judgmental, confidential help and guidance to pregnant women and families who are struggling due to personal and/or financial difficulties. We are dedicated to helping through tangible, positive and loving support. We freely provide formula, diapers, clothing and material needs as well as emotional support.

Bradley Angle’s mission is to serve all people affected by domestic violence. We do this by placing people experiencing—or at risk of—domestic violence at the center of our services and providing them with safety, education, empowerment, healing, and hope.

The Children’s Bureau mission is to help children succeed and excel at leading happy, healthy, productive lives through a combination of prevention, treatment, research and advocacy. Children’s Bureau is committed to providing vulnerable children — especially in the early years — the foundation necessary to become caring and productive adults by: preventing child abuse and neglect both at home and in the community; protecting, nurturing and treating abused children; enhancing the potential of families and communities to meet the needs of their children by bringing them together to create safe and secure environments; advancing the welfare of children and families through superior programs in foster care, adoptions, child development, parent education, mental health, research and advocacy.

The mission of Community Partners of El Paso is to assist child protective services in meeting the needs of abused and neglected children and their families in El Paso county.

CID's mission is to support the production and distribution of high quality independently produced documentaries and the filmmakers who create them. The cooperative arrangement between CID and independent film and video producers is unique. Once involved in a project, CID becomes totally committed to its successful completion by working with producers at all phases including helping to raise and manage project funds and offer creative, technical, and distribution support. We promote our films through our website (396,000 visitors this year) and social media (7000 friends and followers). CID also provides professional development programs and collaborates with other organizations on initiatives that strengthen the production environment for independent filmmakers including offering monthly workshops, a weeklong retreat seminar for 10 filmmakers held each summer in Vermont, and the pride of the ocean film festival and seminars which provide a unique resource for LGBT filmmakers. CID works with filmmakers from all regions of the country. A total of 142 films are currently in the development and production phases. The demographics of the filmmakers and the subject matter of their films are equally diverse. CID films have been seen on PBS as part of American Masters, American Experience, Independent Lens and POV, received national cablecasts from HBO, Sundance, Discovery and Logo channels, and have appeared at every major film festival receiving awards from Emmy’s to the Peabody.

The Ladder Alliance mission is to provide women victims of domestic violence and low-income women with the tools to lead self-reliant, independent and successful lives.

Athens CASA/GAL Program is a court-based, non-profit organization that recruits and trains community volunteers to serve as Court Appointed Special Advocates to represent the best interests of children that come to the attention of juvenile court because of abuse or neglect.

The National Cued Speech Association supports effective communication, language development (international languages) and literacy in families with deaf, hard of hearing or learning disabled infants, children and youth through the use of cued speech.

Coalition for Courage helps needy children, especially those affected by H.I.V. in sub-Saharan Africa, by providing health, education and welfare services.

Soroptimist International of Marysville is celebrating 30 years of service to our community. We are part of Soroptimist International, with over 95,000 members in 120 countries around the globe. Our focus is on service: we are committed to improving the lives of women and children in our community, our country, and around the world. at our local club level, we organize fundraisers to support various service projects chosen by the members. We do several hands-on projects and also donate money to projects that share our vision. We recognize exceptional women and girls with awards and monetary grants to help them continue their work.
