The mission of Project Angel Food is to nourish the body and spirit of men, women, and children affected by HIV/AIDS, cancer, and other life-threatening illnesses. Our goal is to make sure no one in our community suffers the ravages of hunger and malnutrition while struggling with serious illnesses. Without our daily meal deliveries, clients risk malnutrition and deteriorating health since they are unable to provide their own meals. Project Angel Food acts with urgency as hunger and illness do not wait.

As a member of the Travis County Child Protection Team, our mission is to reduce the trauma for children during the investigation and prosecution of crimes against children.

The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) Foundation of Massachusetts is a private, voluntary, nonpartisan organization which works to protect and promote the individual rights and liberties guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution and the Massachusetts Declaration of Rights. 

Middle Way House works to support all survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking; and to educate the community through outreach and prevention programs.

SafeSpace (Safespace Inc.) provides crisis intervention, emergency shelter and advocacy for adult survivors of domestic violence and their children across Florida’s Treasure Coast (Indian River, Martin and St. Lucie counties). The organization operates a 24/7 hotline, emergency shelters, legal advocacy, counseling and prevention/education programs to help survivors achieve safety and independence; services are provided free to those who seek help.

Approximately 3,000 children in Dallas go to sleep each night without a home of their own. We’re on a mission to help young children overcome the lasting and traumatic effects of homelessness. It is our vision that every child in our community has a home, a self-sufficient family and a foundation for success in school and life — and the clock is ticking. 90% of brain development happens by the age of five. Without intervention at this critical time, homeless children may suffer lifelong social, emotional and educational deficits. That’s where we come in. And YOU can help.

Doorways creates pathways out of homelessness, domestic violence, and sexual assault leading to safe, stable, and empowered lives

Peace Sisters assists over 470 underprivileged girls to access educational opportunities in Togo, West Africa. Peace Sisters was founded by Tina Kampor, a Togolese American woman who moved to California in 2003 and worked hard so she would be able to send money back to Togo to help girls who might otherwise have dropped out of school. School fee payments, solar study lamps, ID Cards, menstrual pads, and basic health insurance are some of the ways that Peace Sisters helps girls to succeed in their education. In 2021, Peace Sisters celebrated the first college graduation by a girl in our program!

Healing TREE (Trauma Resources, Education & Entertainment) advocates healing from abuse and trauma rather than coping with the symptoms, in order to transform lives and, ultimately, society. We achieve this by providing trauma-focused resources and education and by producing and partnering with relevant film, television, and theatre, empowering the social change necessary to create a healing movement.

We The Protesters is a national organization focused on ending racism and police violence in the United States. Since 2015, they have built the most comprehensive database of police violence in the nation, used the data to identify effective policy solutions and supported movement organizers to enact these policies at every level of government.

Women's Global Education Project (WGEP) believes that universal education, gender equality and empowerment of women are critical to a society's development. Our mission is to empower women and girls in rural regions of Sub-Saharan Africa through education to build better lives and foster more equitable communities
