Participer de maniere forte a la prevention et au retrait des jeunes et des enfants de la rue afin de favoriser leur reinsertion sociale a travers la formation professionnelle et le financement des activites generatrices de revenus. SafePlace works for societal change to prevent sexual and domestic violence while offering crisis intervention, education, and long-term advocacy services. SafePlace was formed in October 1981, by the merger of Rape Relief and the Women’s Shelter Services, two programs operated by the YWCA since 1973 and 1976, respectively. Since our inception, we have been both a dual domestic violence and sexual assault provider agency in Thurston County. We are a private non-profit organization. Our sexual assault program is one of the oldest in the nation. A board of directors, staff, and over 90 trained volunteers operate the agency. Our general purpose is to empower survivors to make decisions about their lives, by offering supportive services, resources and information.

The Blue Ribbon Project is designed to be a community outreach in both the prevention of Child Abuse and a support network for abused and neglected children. At the Blue Ribbon Project, we understand that victims of child abuse carry a burden throughout their lives and the effects of abuse last a lifetime. That’s why we offer a variety of functional outreach programs that directly serve abused and neglected children in our community, youth in foster care, as well as adult survivors of abuse and neglect. Through our dedication to these children, we remain committed to achieving our vision of raising awareness around child abuse in our communities and acting as advocates for those affected by child abuse and neglect. The Cupcake Girls is a Portland and Las Vegas based nonprofit that provides confidential support to those involved in the sex industry as well as trauma-informed outreach, intensive case management, and referral services to provide prevention, and aftercare to those affected by sex trafficking. Today, we are the only organization in the country to partner with our clients without agenda in building comprehensive, holistic plans to help them pursue their goals and objectives, working to ensure that we’re matching the right solutions to the right individual, at the right time. We provide nonjudgmental support to empower our clients. Friends of Warm Hearth provides a holistic community-based group home that cares for the bodies, minds and souls of Armenian orphans with disabilities. RespectAbility was founded to correct and prevent the current disparity of justice for people with disabilities. We are a stronger community when we live up to our values -- when we are welcoming, diverse, moral, and respect one another. People with disabilities and their families have the same hopes and dreams as everyone else, even if they face different challenges. Together we can build a more just and inclusive community where our children, parents, grandparents, and other family and friends with and without disabilities have an equal opportunity to succeed.

To help create a world in which every child can thrive in a safe, healthy, and legal environment, Child Find of America provides professional services to prevent and resolve child abduction and the family conflicts that can lead to abduction and abuse. Our free programs and services are available nationally and internationally. Our 1-800-I-AM-LOST help line connects callers to our in house location staff who search for missing, kidnapped, and runaway and parentally-abducted children. Our Parent Help program provides professional services design to defuse family conflicts that can lead to abduction and abuse. Our case managers assist with crisis intervention, conflict management, safety planning, parenting skill-building, and training programs for allied professionals.

La Casa de las Madres was founded in 1976 by a group of Bay Area women, most of whom had experienced domestic violence as victims or as daughters of abused mothers. Deeply motivated by the death of her mother, one of the founders set forth to establish a place where women could seek refuge from domestic violence; where they would be safe, cared for, and allowed to regain physical strength and self-esteem. Their refuge would be named La Casa de las Madres--The Home of the Mothers. Today, La Casa offers emergency shelter to women and their children while providing advocacy, counseling, family-based services and referrals. Our downtown office houses our two 24-hour crisis lines, Drop-In Counseling Center, Teen Intervention and Prevention Program, and Community Education and Outreach Program as well as our administration.

PROSHIPS Goal is to improve the ultimate socio-economic and cultural condition of the community through the development of the most disadvantaged, vulnerable people, women, children and the people with disabilities to ensure their equal rights and opportunities for participation in the mainstream development. PROSHIPS has been working with the vision to promote development programs in the community to improve the overall socio-economic and cultural condition of the disable , most disadvantaged children , adolescent, of the community. Special emphasis is given on preventing disability, ensuring maternal child health, adolescent family life education and reproductive health education, restoration of child/ human rights and human resource development. PROSHIPS have been trying to implement action programs with the active involvement and participation of the community people. PROSHIPS aspire for a suppression free society with prosperity, peace and equity where all people could get proper opportunity and equal rights to develop.

Apne Aap (Hindi for "self-help") works to empower the women and children of India's red-light districts to escape sex trafficking.By providing them with education, healthcare and job skills, we are breaking the cycle of poverty and discrimination that forces women into prostitution. We recognize that buying sex is a societal problem, and work with governments worldwide to end the stigmatization of those trapped in prostitution and criminalize those who exploit them. Objectives To support community-based initiatives of those trapped by the sex-industry. Mitigate the circumstances of those caught in prostitution. Develop leadership among the affected to end sex-trafficking Prevent inter-generational prostitution. Build linkages between grassroots activism and policy makers on issues related to ending-sex- trafficking. Create awareness in society regarding discrimination against women and girls, particularly on issues related to sex-trafficking, prostitution, sex, sexuality and violence against women and girls .

Our mission is to improve the quality of life of people with disabilities and the general community through programs that help to achieve the maximum possible level of functionality, independence and autonomy. Our objectives are: contribute to the promotion of health and prevention of disability, promote the development, the recovery and maintain the functional level, through Rehabilitation and re-aptation, contribute to the development of skills for school and work for the integration of people with disabilities and promote social participation of people with disabilities by raising awareness and eliminating barriers within the society. FONTEN is a project we have built together, it's a future we are passionate about. Sacrifices have been made by all of us in these past two years during the process of attaining Government Recognition as a Foundation. Programs have been suspended due to lack of financial resources and we have tightened our belts. This dedication and commitment to the Foundation's goals by a local, experienced staff is something that has enabled us to persevere and will contribute to the success of future endeavors.

My Sister’s Place (MSP) seeks to end domestic violence and empower survivors to live healthy, independent lives free from violence. For over 40 years, MSP has been an innovator in changing lives by providing DC’s first hotline and first domestic violence shelter, and most recently, first Batterer Intervention group. As DC’s oldest domestic violence shelter, we have served as a cornerstone of the District’s response to this pressing public health issue since 1979, and our impact on DC’s community remains as strong as ever. MSP is unique in offering a full continuum of care from emergency shelter through transitional-to-permanent housing. Our experienced team of case managers and residential counselors provides clinical counseling, case management, and comprehensive services to empower survivors to recover and thrive. MSP also provides training, case consultation, and advocacy to engage communities to prevent violence and abuse. Our goal is to end domestic violence, and empower everyone to build healthy lives and relationships.
