The mission of AVDA (Aid to Victims of Domestic Abuse) is to end family violence in the Houston area by advocating for the safety and self-determination of victims, promoting accountability for abusers and fostering a community response to abuse.

One Purse uses the power of the purse, an item every American woman has in her closet, to provide sex trafficking survivors with an opportunity to live free, embrace redemption, and pursue a confident future through our Restore Her Dream Fund. At One Purse, we stand on the conviction that a life of sexual exploitation is not the dream of any woman or child. Our mission is to provide resources to fulfill the vocational and recreational ambitions of survivors, and create experiences that give them an opportunity to take hold of a new dream for their life.

Hopeful Hearts Ministry aids the long-term recovery of survivors of abuse through peer support sessions, counseling, and public awareness services. Grandma’s House Children’s Advocacy Center exists to bring hope and healing to child abuse victims and their families. The organization provides free forensic interviews, therapy, medical exams, advocacy, and ongoing guidance through the healing process in a safe, child-friendly environment. Its services are aimed at helping children and their caregivers overcome trauma and move forward with resilience.

To provide mental health counseling and education to people who have experienced Trauma, PTSD, Depression, Anxiety and Suicidal ideation.

Creatively providing resources to communities affected by Youth Homicide, Suicide, and Mental Health Illnesses.

New Creation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization on a mission to creatively counteract human trafficking with a local heart + global approach. We work with more than 200 partner organizations from 5 continents to create dignified work for those rescued from, or vulnerable to trafficking around the world. We believe that education + job creation are powerful tools to overcome trafficking, which is why our team is committed to continuing to develop concepts that make freedom possible. But we also know that in order to truly solve this issue, we need to both help survivors + get in front of the issue - which is why we also provide prevention education to communities, businesses, families, and youth on the signs and dangers of human trafficking.
