Magdalene House Chicago seeks to nurture sustainable change for adult women who have survived sex trafficking and prostitution, by providing a sober-living home sanctuary that is both trauma and faith-informed, where they can heal, access community-based services, and achieve stability.

We offer job training, employment, education and shelter to women and children in South and Southeast Asia, providing the tools and skills that enable them to remain forever free.

The mission of Alliance for HOPE International is to create pathways to hope for women, children, and men who are victims of domestic violence and related sexual assault through collaborative, integrated multi- disciplinary centers, teams, and initiatives in order to break the generational cycle of violence and abuse in families across the United States and around the world.

JOY International is devoted to the rescue, restoration, reintegration and prevention of children who are trafficked and forced into commercial sexual exploitation. We are also committed to give children, teens and young women who are rescued out of the sex trade a renewed hope and a joy for living with enhanced life opportunities through Safe Havens that offer physical, emotional, psychological, educational, vocational and spiritual restoration.

FreeFrom is a grassroots nonprofit organization in the US that is dedicated to helping survivors to achieve economic justice and long-term financial stability. 1 in 4 women in the US will experience severe domestic violence in their lifetime and the number one obstacle survivors face in rebuilding their lives is financial insecurity. Our goal with this program is to help survivors to build financial independence, community and confidence through entrepreneurship and employment.

Based in Chicago’s Woodlawn community, The Darren B. Easterling Center for Restorative Practices (the Center), is a trauma recovery center, founded on the belief that no one's legacy should ever be defined by their worst mistake. Our mission is to eradicate the individual behaviors we believe to be at the core of gun-violence by offering trauma-centered recovery services to women, children and formerly incarcerated men ages 16-25, who have experienced the effects of violent crime as either a victim or an offender.

LifeWire's mission is to end domestic violence by changing individual, institutional and societal beliefs, attitudes, and behaviors that perpetuate it. Domestic violence knows no boundaries; occurring in families from all racial and socio-economic backgrounds, domestic violence affects 1 in 4 women and 1 in 9 men in their lifetimes. LifeWire envisions a world in which every person lives in a safe environment, free from oppression and with the opportunity to thrive. LifeWire is a nationally recognized leader and the largest comprehensive domestic violence service provider in Washington State. We offer a 24-Hour Helpline, survivor-based advocacy, mental health therapy, innovating homelessness and housing stability services, and ground-breaking social change work.

SafePlace works for societal change to prevent sexual and domestic violence while offering crisis intervention, education, and long-term advocacy services. SafePlace was formed in October 1981, by the merger of Rape Relief and the Women’s Shelter Services, two programs operated by the YWCA since 1973 and 1976, respectively. Since our inception, we have been both a dual domestic violence and sexual assault provider agency in Thurston County. We are a private non-profit organization. Our sexual assault program is one of the oldest in the nation. A board of directors, staff, and over 90 trained volunteers operate the agency. Our general purpose is to empower survivors to make decisions about their lives, by offering supportive services, resources and information.

The mission of the N.Y. Police and Fire Widows' and Children's Benefit Fund (also known as Answer the Call) is to support the families of New York City Police Officers, Firefighters, Port Authority Police, and EMS Personnel who have been killed in the line of duty. When these brave men and women make the ultimate sacrifice to protect our city, we believe it is our civic duty to support the families these heroes have left behind. Our mission is to reassure these families that we will never forget them or the sacrifice made by their loved ones. We provide financial assistance, host special gatherings, and offer a network of support to over 600 families. Our goal is to raise enough funds to assist these families for the rest of their lives. Broken Wings Ministry is dedicated to Tammy's (founder of Broken Wings) brother Jimbo who died on Christmas Eve 2014 from a heroin overdose. He suffered from Opiod / mental health issues. He was a victim of the national opioid crisis in America and did not receive the help he needed. Broken Wings want to restore lives to people who are broken by addiction and mental health / trauma. We offer services in the Orlando area with emphasis on women and children suffering from opiod addiction/ substance abuse and other mental health challenges. Curently we provide services including outpatient office based therapy, animal and garden therapy. Once our residential home is purchased, clients can come and heal in a safe holistic environment (body, mind and spirit). Therapeutic interventions will aim to get at the root cause of addiction/ mental health and seek healing from triggers with effective interventions to avoid relapse. Interventions include: animal therapy, garden therapy, EMDR, talk therapy, group therapy, therapeutic massage, spirituality, develooping life skills, nutrition education and a twelve step program with family involvement. Then, after a client graduates from our program we want to follow them for life. We believe that recovery is a life long process and want to stand by our alumni. Therefore, Broken Wings will offer lifelong alumni outpatient counseling services to clients for support to prevent relapse.

API Chaya supports Asian, South Asian, and Pacific Islander survivors and families impacted by domestic violence and sexual assault, as well as human trafficking survivors from all communities. API Chaya engages communities to change societal conditions that enable domestic and sexual violence, human trafficking and all forms of oppression, especially violence against women and the most vulnerable in our society.
