Empower individuals and families through education, safety, and support and lead our community to reduce the incidents and the effects of domestic abuse and dating violence.

The Parenting Place is a place for all who care for young children. Our resources prepare, strengthen, and support parents and caregivers by creating greater understanding of the impact they have on the lives of children in their care. Through such increased understanding, children will have a positive, supportive, and loving start in life.

To creatively enhance education in our community.

Women's Shelter, organized in 1976, began as a grassroots organization to offer safety and advocacy services to victims of domestic abuse and to their children. Women's Shelter's goal is to reduce domestic violence by offering alternative housing, reducing barriers to violence free living, educating the public about difficulties facing victims, and preventing future violence by working with the children.

Michigan Abolitionist Project helps people to use their gifts and talents to prevent and end slavery in Michigan and beyond. They engage the community through their network of growing Community Groups throughout Michigan. At the heart of who they are, are stellar abolitionists. MAP volunteers are business owners, college students, pastors, artists, stay-at-home moms and dads, writers, teachers, lawyers, construction workers, hairdressers, medical professionals, social workers, marketing experts, computer techs, professors, and more! They are living proof that anyone can do something to prevent and help end slavery.

To provide safety, shelter and support for women and children who have experienced domestic violence, and to raise awareness regarding its cause, prevalence and impact.

America on Trial Inc. (AOT) is a grassroots organization dedicated to empowering those affected by incarceration and police brutality. Our mission is to drive decarceration and systemic change by uniting communities impacted by mass incarceration, exploitative prison and jail labor, police brutality, and harmful media narratives. We aim to dismantle systemic injustices and promote a more equitable society.

Our organization places women and children in the forefront because we believe women are the heart of the family, as well as cultural, health and social balances within every community. Women play a central role in health development and education. As such, their empowerment is an indispensable factor for peace, social, economic, and environmental progress. We are convinced giving women the right to choose their lives independently, anywhere in the world, is one of the keys to meeting the challenges of this century.
