Our mission is to stop domestic violence abuse for everyone through intervention, education and advocacy.

Since 1953, the mission of their shelter has been to provide a haven for Huron county residents to safely surrender their animals when unforeseen circumstances come up. We accept dogs, cats, and other domesticated animals. We are unable to accept stray or outdoor cats and all stray or lost dogs must go to the Huron County Dog Warden. The mission of Laurel House is to: - Advocate for and empower those impacted by domestic violence by providing crisis intervention, safe haven, supportive programs and supportive programs and resources - Advance social change through preventative education and through community training and collaboration to foster a coordinated response to domestic abuse Services are available to both female and male survivors of domestic abuse.

Lazarus House's mission is to offer guests connected to St. Charles, Geneva, Batavia and western rural Kane County, Illinois, who are homeless or in need, hope for the future by providing hospitality, food, safe shelter, and education – tools for life. We strive to make certain that all who enter feel the love of Jesus. Goals are to: 1)help the homeless return to independent living with the skills and habits needed for long-term success and 2)offer services and referrals to help those in need in our community in order to prevent homelessness and support the well being of individuals and their families.

Child Advocates trains and mobilizes volunteer court-appointed advocates (CASA volunteers) to represent and protect the best interests of abused and neglected children in Harris County. Their work is focused on ensuring each child in foster care has a consistent, well-supported advocate who helps judges and the child welfare system make safe, permanent placement decisions.

Radiant Futures is building a safer community in Orange County. Originally founded as Womens Transitional Living Center, we were the first domestic violence agency in Orange County and the third in the United States. For over 45 years, weve been a committed partner and solid presence in our community. As Radiant Futures, our work continues to evolve as we provide inclusive, comprehensives services to everyone impacted by domestic violence and human trafficking. To build a community free of harm, we also equip our neighbors with education to prevent violence and abuse.

360 Communities works to deliver safety and stability that improves lives. It provides violence-prevention and intervention (including shelter and sexual-assault services), operates resource centers and food shelves, and runs school-success and housing-stability programs to help families become self-sufficient.

Safe Alliance provides crisis intervention, shelter, counseling, court advocacy, and other trauma-informed services to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking in Mecklenburg County; their work focuses on immediate safety, healing, and helping survivors rebuild stable lives.

Stone House partners with adult and child survivors of domestic violence and related trauma to provide safe emergency and transitional housing, counseling, childcare, and supportive services that help survivors achieve safety, stability, and long-term independence.

To provide children and youth in Arizona a safe environment, free from abuse and neglect, by creating strong and successful families. We do this through prevention, intervention and education programs designed to support the thousands of children and families who may be at risk. All of our work centers on our vision of safe kids…strong families.

CARE House of Oakland County is the county’s children’s advocacy center that works to prevent child abuse and protect children who have experienced abuse or neglect. It provides advocacy, education, intervention, training and treatment services (including forensic interviews and therapy) in partnership with community agencies, typically at no cost to the families served.
