The Family Abuse Center exist to eliminate domestic violence in Central Texas by shelter victims and through intervention and education.
Since 11/93, the Children's Advocacy Center has aided physically and sexually abused children and their non-offending family members and helped to reduce the trauma and revictimization. Faced with limited resources available, and servicing a rural, economically deprived, multi-county and multi-jurisdictional area, the Center has been innovative & responsive in coordinating and providing quality services for child abuse victims, their families, and the professionals dedicated to aiding abuse victims. The Center's focus is prevention, intervention, investigation, treatment, disposition and awareness of child abuse issues. We continue to improve and expand services to meet increasing needs of primary and secondary victims.A variety of services are offered FREE OF CHARGE thanks to grant assistance, gifts-in-kind, and community support.
MY Project USA aims to protect and empower American youth. THAT MISSION IS ACCOMPLISHED THROUGH AGRICULTURAL AND EDUCATIONAL PURSUITS THAT SERVES INDIVIDUALS AND SUPPORTS TWO COMMUNITIES. THE COMMUNITIES SERVE AS TRANSITIONAL SUPPORTS TOWARD PERSONAL INDEPENDENCE-TO PROVIDE ACCOUNTABILITY, TRAINING AND MENTORSHIP TO THE DISADVANTAGED YOUTHS WHO HAVE COMPLETED PRIMARY, SECONDARY, AND/OR POST-SECONDARY EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS.
Our MISSION is to allow OUR LOVE for OUR LOVE STARS-child abused animals and people, dysfunctional families (including troubled youth and troubled animals), bullied/bullier to aid us in hearing their cries and easing their pain and never forgetting those who have passed away. The Latisha's House Foundation has a unique place in our community. It provides a safe, residential home for young women who are victims of human sex trafficking and sexual exploitation.
