Lassen Family Services, Inc. is a domestic violence/ sexual assault crisis agency committed to ending abuse in our community through Prevention, Healing, Advocacy, Safety, Education, compassionate intervention, and effective partnerships with local community and social service agencies that will support and empower the participant’s journey to success.

Originally started by the Harbor Area YWCA, our mission is to provide shelter and support to anyone impacted by domestic violence, empowering them to move beyond trauma, towards safety & stability. Established in 1983, we have been serving the community for more than 40 years. Our programs are inclusive and help all survivors build healthy, safe, violence-free lives. We serve Los Angeles County with a Harbor Area/South Bay focus. Most of our clients have low/no incomes. We provide all services in Spanish and English. We work to improve the quality of life for survivors, and to prevent future acts of domestic violence through prevention education.

Independence House helps all domestic violence and sexual assault victims and their children by creating opportunities to find safety and become empowered through crisis intervention, advocacy, counseling, referral, prevention outreach, education and inspiring change in our community. Our vision is to see domestic and sexual violence come to an end.

CARE House of Oakland County is the county’s children’s advocacy center that works to prevent child abuse and protect children who have experienced abuse or neglect. It provides advocacy, education, intervention, training and treatment services (including forensic interviews and therapy) in partnership with community agencies, typically at no cost to the families served.

The Action Alliance has been Virginia's leading voice on sexual and intimate partner violence for more than 40 years. We are a non-profit network of survivors, Sexual and Domestic Violence Agencies, and allies working to strengthen how communities across Virginia respond to and prevent sexual and intimate partner violence. Donations ensure we have the resources needed in order to: Strengthen state laws that make survivors safer and communities more equitable; respond to those in need (24/7) via the Statewide Sexual and Domestic Violence Hotline; train professionals to provide trauma-informed responses and build healing-centered systems; and create statewide prevention initiatives that promote healthy relationships, joyful sexuality, and thriving communities.

The Denver Children's Advocacy Center's Mission Is To: Prevent Abuse, Strengthen Families And Restore Childhood. The Goal Is To Ensure That Every Low-Income Child In Metro Denver Who Has Been Traumatized By Sexual Abuse, Or By Witnessing Homicide Or Domestic Violence, Receives Immediate, Compassionate And Effective Intervention - Followed By Treatment - Until They Are Healed.

The Child Advocacy Center of Greater Rochester gives children a voice by advocating for them with trauma-informed, child-centered services across prevention, intervention, and healing. We create spaces where children can feel supported through adulthood and each step of their journey, while ensuring they do not experience re-traumatization.

Since 1979 Domestic Abuse Project (DAP) has served the Twin Cities' community with innovative and successful programming to end the inter-generational cycle of domestic violence. We have made it our mission to work with all affected members of the family–men, women, and children–to stop domestic violence as it occurs and prevent it in the future.

To provide children and youth in Arizona a safe environment, free from abuse and neglect, by creating strong and successful families. We do this through prevention, intervention and education programs designed to support the thousands of children and families who may be at risk. All of our work centers on our vision of safe kids…strong families.

The Nursery provides 24/7 crisis support and voluntary, short-term child care to families in crisis while connecting parents to resources and advocacy to strengthen family stability and prevent child abuse and neglect. It operates a crisis helpline, overnight care for children newborn–age six, family advocacy and home-visiting services.

Denton County Friends of the Family provides trauma‑informed support to people affected by domestic violence, sexual assault, and related abuse; they operate a 24‑hour crisis line and offer emergency shelter, counseling, advocacy, transitional housing, legal assistance, and prevention/education programs to help survivors find safety, stability, and healing.

Provides free, confidential crisis and support services to survivors of domestic and sexual violence in Aiken and surrounding counties, including a 24-hour hotline, hospital accompaniment, emergency shelter, counseling, legal advocacy, and case management. The organization also conducts prevention education, outreach, and advocacy to reduce tolerance of abuse and promote social change.
