The mission of the Wichita Family Crisis Center is to eliminate domestic violence by supporting survivors through shelter, education and advocacy. Each year, the organization serves nearly 1,800 women, children, and men who are fleeing this violent crime.

Soroptimist International of Marysville is celebrating 30 years of service to our community. We are part of Soroptimist International, with over 95,000 members in 120 countries around the globe. We do several hands-on projects and also donate money to projects that share our vision. We recognize exceptional women and girls with awards and monetary grants to help them continue their work.

We cooperate and collaborate with organizations in the USA and elsewhere with similar objectives. Countries in South Asia include Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Burma, India, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. Though there are differences in language, customs, and religions across these countries, these regions share many basic cultural and historical similarities.

Texans Care For Children works to improve the lives of Texas children by building commitment and action for improved public policy and programs. Texans Care For Children is dedicated to the belief that the society can do better for the children. They know that many Texans share their vision, and by raising their voices together, they can improve the lives of their children and the success of their state.

Casa Julia operates emergency shelters and community programs for women and children who are survivors of domestic violence, providing safe housing, counseling, legal support and rapid re‑housing services. Since 1979 the organization has focused on protection, psychosocial healing, and promoting autonomy and reintegration for survivors across Puerto Rico.
