Live Violence Free is committed to promoting a violence-free community through education and advocacy to address domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, and basic needs.

THE LAUREL CENTER WAS INCORPORATED IN 1983 AND OFFERS A COMPREHENSIVE PROGRAM OF EMERGENCY SHELTER, CRISIS INTERVENTION, CRIMINAL JUSTICE ADVOCACY, COUNSELING SUPPORT SERVICES, 24/7 HOTLINE AND EDUCATIONAL SERVICES TO SURVIVORS OF DOMESTIC AND SEXUAL (CONTINUES ON SCH. O) VIOLENCE IN THE CITY OF WINCHESTER, AND IN THE COUNTIES OF FREDERICK, CLARKE AND WARREN. We empower those affected by domestic and sexual violence by providing emergency housing, advocacy, outreach, support services, education and awareness.

For the better part of 100 years, Soroptimist has been working to empower women and girls throughout the world. Soroptimist is a global volunteer organization that provides women and girls with access to the education and training they need to achieve economic empowerment. Over 30,000 members in 20 countries and territories participate in the Live Your Dream: Education and Training Awards for Women; Dream It, Be It: Career Support for Girls; and local projects tailored to meet the community needs of women and girls.

Reconstructing Hope is an NYC based best in class non-profit charity whose mission is to support, empower, and educate survivors of domestic violence seeking aesthetic and reconstructive surgery and counseling, at no cost to the survivors.

NEWS is dedicated to providing safety, hope, healing and empowerment for survivors of domestic and sexual abuse. Equally, NEWS is committed to promoting safe communities and social change through prevention, intervention, education, and advocacy.

We will work toward the elimination of domestic violence and provide emergency and support services for survivors of domestic violence.For over 37 years, Domestic Violence Shelter and Services, Inc. (DVSS) has advanced its work to prevent domestic violence and provide support services for survivors of domestic violence and their children. Services are available twenty four hours a day. Our primary service area is New Hanover County. (Other areas are served as needed.)

The Center helps people who abuse to stop their domestic violence, take responsibility for their behavior, create healthy relationships, and strengthen their community. Domestic violence affects women and children, men and boys. It is estimated that one woman is battered every nine seconds; 37% of women visiting emergency rooms are there due to domestic battery; in Chicago, one domestic violence related call is made to the 911 call center per district per hour.

Our mission is the prevention of domestic violence through the protection and empowerment of the victim, the rehabilitation of family members, the advocacy for social reform to prevent partner violence, and the education of the public about domestic violence and its consequences.

Mosaic Family Services provides culturally competent services to refugee and immigrant survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking in North Texas. We support, educate, and empower the multicultural individuals and families of North Texas.
