Safe Berks provides free, confidential, 24/7 crisis and support services to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault in Berks County. Their programs include emergency shelter, counseling, legal and medical advocacy, and community education and prevention—aimed at keeping people safe, empowering survivors, and preventing further abuse.

Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles seeks to achieve equal justice for people living in poverty across Greater Los Angeles. We change lives through direct representation, systems change, and community education. LAFLA’s team of attorneys, paralegals and support staff works with the community in various ways: Direct representation of low-income individuals; Assisting pro se litigants; Education through workshops in person and online, and printed materials. The Task Force on Family Violence of Milwaukee, Inc. (TFFV) provides advocacy, education and access resources to keep people safe. TFFV is a leader in addressing the problem of domestic violence and the myriad of needs of survivors in our community. Our leadership and innovative thinking has created a rich history and strong foundation for our work.

Clackamas Women’s Services works to end the isolation experienced by survivors of domestic and sexual violence by providing trauma‑informed, survivor‑centered services — including a 24‑hour crisis line, shelter, counseling, legal/advocacy help, and community education — so individuals and families can find safety and long‑term healing.

Soroptimist International of Marysville is celebrating 30 years of service to our community. We are part of Soroptimist International, with over 95,000 members in 120 countries around the globe. Our focus is on service: we are committed to improving the lives of women and children in our community, our country, and around the world. at our local club level, we organize fundraisers to support various service projects chosen by the members. We do several hands-on projects and also donate money to projects that share our vision. We recognize exceptional women and girls with awards and monetary grants to help them continue their work.

Apna Ghar provides critical, comprehensive, culturally competent services, and conducts outreach and advocacy across communities to end gender violence. Apna Ghar seeks to end gender violence through a three- pronged approach of highly effective and innovative services for survivors and those who perpetrate harm, advocacy and community education and accountability.

The Julian Center empowers survivors of domestic and sexual violence, strives to end the generational cycle of violence and creates a community where every individual is safe and respected. Since 1975, they have assisted more than 66,000 survivors and have educated more than 300,000 others on the causes of domestic and sexual violence and its impact on their community.

The mission of Laurel House is to: - Advocate for and empower those impacted by domestic violence by providing crisis intervention, safe haven, supportive programs and supportive programs and resources - Advance social change through preventative education and through community training and collaboration to foster a coordinated response to domestic abuse Services are available to both female and male survivors of domestic abuse.

Founded in 1978, Family Violence Law Center (FVLC) helps diverse communities in Alameda County heal from domestic violence and sexual assault, advocating for justice and healthy relationships. They provide survivor-centered legal and crisis intervention services, offer prevention education for youth and other community members, and engage in policy work to create systemic change.

The Anacortes Family Center's mission is to serve homeless women, children and families in crisis by providing shelter in addition to comprehensive transformational services to achieve long lasting personal success and self-sufficiency, and to prevent homelessness in our community through advocacy and by providing affordable housing options. AFC's unique approach has led to the distinction of being one of the most successful shelters in the state at helping clients achieve self-sufficiency. Last year AFC served the most vulnerable clients* and over 80% of our clients graduated successfully - finding a permanent place to call home and a job to support the household.*Measured with the objective tool used by all homeless programs called the “Vulnerability index”.
