The WRC shall serve women, families and all those who choose to participate in, and can benefit from, the Center?s programs. These programs shall attempt to: protect and nurture health and well being; encourage active participation in making life choices; advocate for the positive solution of crisis situations; facilitate personal growth and life-long education; and provide a link to needed community resources.

Soroptimist International is a global volunteer movement working together to transform the lives of women and girls. Our network of around 80,000 club members in 130 countries and territories works at a local, national and international level to educate, empower and enable opportunities for women and girls. Founded in 1924, Soroptimist International of Long Beach (SILB), a California Nonprofit Corporation, is a volunteer service organization for women in business, management and the professions.

Indian youth are in vital need of resources and support. Young adults who grow up in orphanages and residential care are uniquely at risk for crime, low educational and professional attainment, mental health issues, suicide, homelessness, and early mortality. We come alongside these young adults and provide wrap-around services including counseling, financial support, and professional networking to help them build bright futures.

Turning Points Network’s mission is to enhance the safety and well-being of victims and survivors of domestic and sexual abuse and stalking through empowerment and advocacy; to create a community responsive to all victims and survivors through education, outreach and accountability; and to empower the community to establish a safer culture. Turning Points Network’s vision is everyone engaged in preventing domestic and sexual abuse and stalking, and assuring respectful relationships in all homes, schools and communities.

Breaking Free is a Minnesota-based non-profit and social justice/social change organization founded in 1996 by Vednita Carter. Every year, Breaking Free helps over 500 women escape systems of prostitution and sexual exploitation through advocacy, direct services, housing, and education. Our main offices are located in St. Paul, Minnesota, with a branch in Minneapolis. Breaking Free's doors are open to women throughout Minnesota and the United States.

The Fund for Armenian Relief (FAR) is dedicated to improving the lives of Armenians and preparing them for the 21st century. It cares for the most vulnerable populations by providing basic needs, like food, shelter and healthcare, and brings hope and opportunity through its programs, such as educational scholarships, vocational training and research grants. FAR empowers and engages the people, thereby strengthening Armenia and Karabagh. A prosperous Homeland will be a source of pride and inspiration for future generations of Armenians worldwide.

Radiant Futures is building a safer community in Orange County. Originally founded as Womens Transitional Living Center, we were the first domestic violence agency in Orange County and the third in the United States. For over 45 years, weve been a committed partner and solid presence in our community. As Radiant Futures, our work continues to evolve as we provide inclusive, comprehensives services to everyone impacted by domestic violence and human trafficking. To build a community free of harm, we also equip our neighbors with education to prevent violence and abuse.

Golden House provides safety and support for victims of domestic violence while leading community efforts to end domestic abuse. Golden House is a secure place where victims of domestic abuse find compassionate, knowledgeable advocates offering confidential, individualized help. Golden House is a comprehensive domestic violence agency that serves individuals and families of ALL ages, genders, races, sexual orientation, and gender expression, with counseling, temporary shelter, 24-Hour help, legal assistance (restraining and harassment order filing assistance), support groups, housing options, prevention education and more.

Lazarus House's mission is to offer guests connected to St. Charles, Geneva, Batavia and western rural Kane County, Illinois, who are homeless or in need, hope for the future by providing hospitality, food, safe shelter, and education – tools for life. We strive to make certain that all who enter feel the love of Jesus. Goals are to: 1)help the homeless return to independent living with the skills and habits needed for long-term success and 2)offer services and referrals to help those in need in our community in order to prevent homelessness and support the well being of individuals and their families.

Our mission is to provide emergency shelter and supportive services to victims of domestic violence. Domestic violence victims are frightened for themselves and their children. It is often difficult for them to leave or stay and maintain safety for many reasons including that they are often blamed for their own victimization. It is vital to the safety of our community that victims are provided effective services and those who use harm in relationships are held accountable. Domestic violence is a societal problem that results in disruption and trauma in the lives of individual victims. Our vision is a community where families are safe in their own home. We seek to create a safer community through quality services. We know that our clients deserve adequate housing, resources, other supports and information to choose healthy and safe alternatives and reduce the violence in their lives. We believe collaborating with others in the community will provide the strongest trauma-informed services to our clients Our work is focused on achieving racial equity, gender equality, and welcome for all members of our community. Originally started by the Harbor Area YWCA, our mission is to provide shelter and support to anyone impacted by domestic violence, empowering them to move beyond trauma, towards safety & stability. Established in 1983, we have been serving the community for more than 40 years. Our programs are inclusive and help all survivors build healthy, safe, violence-free lives. We serve Los Angeles County with a Harbor Area/South Bay focus. Most of our clients have low/no incomes. We provide all services in Spanish and English. We work to improve the quality of life for survivors, and to prevent future acts of domestic violence through prevention education.
